23.01.2022 Hi everyone, came up with an idea to use up some unused track and some old rolling stock. A Railway Museum. I would like to get some feed back please. I don’t have any steamers yet but they will be added later

21.01.2022 LEDelectronic doing a close up shot of our LED modules. Great work Trevor. -Sarah-

15.01.2022 It has been very quiet over here due to the COVID-19 situation around the world and here in Metropolitan Melbourne being in Stage 4 restriction lockdown. We the members do hope everyone is doing well as well to your families and friends. Recently on Japan Rail Journal (S06 E08), there was an episode about the B.B.Base where there is a train that takes cyclists and their bikes to the areas of the Chiba prefecture. There are 4 courses of various difficulty (Uchib, Sotob, Sawa...ra and Chosi courses) amazing scenery as you travel along by train and by bicycle. The B.B.Base consist of a 6 car 209 series train being converted for both passenger and bicycle use. Cars 1-3, 5-6 are seating and bicycle storage while car 4 has restroom, changeroom space, a meeting space to talk about the course you're going on while traveling to the destination point. Definitely a good place to visit for those who loves bike riding. -Sarah-

13.01.2022 Not model train related, but it does have the Japanese Cultural feel, the Melbourne Japanese Summer Festival is happening on this Sunday (23rd Feb) at Federation Square. Sarah will be there, helping out the attendees if they are lost or require to find first aid facilities as well where is the Asahi beer garden is located at. So if you are in Melbourne for the weekend what a great way to see the Melbourne Japanese Summer Festival and the weather should be a fine day. Cheers... Sarah See more

13.01.2022 Our thoughts are with those people in Japan who have been affected by the Typhoon Hagaibis, As well to the Railway companies counting the cost of lost infrastructure and rebuilding the rail lines to help transport people around Japan. There will be not more conventions/exhibitions for the members of AJMRG to be displaying our layout for this year but so looking forward to the events happening next year. -Sarah-

So now we are taking a break for a little while and hope to see you again at our next visiting exhibition. -Sarah-
