22.01.2022 Releasing large muscles around the spine, glutes, hip flexors and hamstrings can help reduce back pain, improve muscle tone and release pressure on the nerves around the spine. Which will decrease muscle pain! #ajsremedial #backpain

22.01.2022 One of the most common mistakes made while performing exercise is incorrect form. Each exercise you perform are controlled by particular muscle groups, when performed incorrectly it makes it all-most impossible for these muscles to control the movement. If you have any questions about the exercise you are performing please don’t hesitate to ask! #form #exercise #movement #correct #muscles #control #fitness #exercisephysiology

20.01.2022 Tight hips? Try this great stretch to help release and activate your hip flexors. With corona virus circulating Im sure a lot of us have become more inactive. Sitting for long periods of time can relax and deactivate your hip flexors, which will progressively shorten and weaken the muscle. Ensure to stretch and loosen your hips with this great stretch! Also a great stretch before & after exercise

17.01.2022 Neck and shoulder pain is often caused by excessively tight muscles. Cupping is able to help release these muscles and also bring fresh blood to the area providing nutrients, oxygen and hydration. This increase the bodys own response to heal the affected area and clear the knots and constrictions in the muscles. @jimbolester #ajsremedial #feelbetterplaybetter @ Hawkesbury, New South Wales, Australia

16.01.2022 Just a reminder that we all need treatments!! #ajsremedial #feelbetterplaybetter

15.01.2022 Dry Needling is a very useful therapy for helping tennis elbow by breaking up the knots in your muscles. Dry Needling is also effective for improving blood flow into the painful area to promote healing and relaxation of your muscles to make it them softer and in turn decrease your pain #ajsremedial #dryneedling #tenniselbow

09.01.2022 Ok let me go science on you for a second. Did you know that low intensity exercise such as warm up activities result in a phenomenon known as post-activation potentiation (PAP). PAP is defined as the increase in muscle force production that occurs following a bout of non-fatiguing muscle contractions. The mechanisms to explain this positive impact PAP has on muscle performance is that low-intensity muscle contractions result in phosphorylation of myosin and actin cross-bridg...e area. This phosphorylation increases the muscles sensitivity to calcium releases from the sarcoplasmic reticulum, and the end result is increased actin-myosin interaction which improves muscle force production. In summary, warm ups are PROVEN to have positive effects on muscle force production and improve athletic performance. #science #exerciseandsportsscience #knowledge #exercise #warmup #performance #muscles #forceproduction #athleticperformance #musclescience #musclefatigue

04.01.2022 Aerobic Vs Anaerobic. Whats the difference?? Aerobic is with air.... Anaerobic is without. Aerobic exercise your muscles have enough oxygen to produce the energy needed to perform. Anaerobic exercise (HIIT type workouts) means oxygen demand is greater than oxygen supply and you cant keep up with the energy your body is demanding. #funfact #ajsremedial #aerobic #anaerobic
