11.01.2022 SHABERANAITO (28 Feb 2020) Good food and good company marked the first Shaberanaito for 2020. A crowd of 45 with a shared passion for the Japanese language converged on Daruma Japanese Restaurant in Haymarket and lost no time in catching up with friends and colleagues. Meeting new people, discovering old connections and new topics of conversation over a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to exercise your language skills, not to mention your vocal cords.... Then the hubbub subsided for the lucky door prizes! Congratulations to the winners. The watermelon prize was an inspired choicea great natsubate cure if ever ;-) All in all, a great way to enjoy the last of what has been a summer to remember! Thank you to JETAA NSW for hosting, and to everyone who donated prizes. Keep an eye out for the next !!
