20.01.2022 COVID-19 update for Darling Downs From 8am Monday (31/08) restrictions on gatherings and aged care will extend to the Darling Downs region. Gatherings in... people’s homes and outdoors will be limited to 10 people for residents in the Western Downs, South Burnett, Cherbourg, Toowoomba, Goondiwindi, and Southern Downs council areas. Currently, gatherings in people’s homes and outdoors are limited to 10 people for residents in Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan City, Scenic Rim, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, Moreton Bay, and Redlands council areas. Everywhere else, gatherings in people’s homes and outdoors are limited to 30 people. Visits to aged care, disability accommodation services and hospitals are also limited to protect our most vulnerable.
