07.01.2022 so I thought after almost 12 months of owning aKarlie Designs I thought that it might be a good idea to introduce myself... whoops HI! My name is Arabella (or Bella for short). I live in little ol’ Tassie and am located on the North-West Coast in Latrobe. I’ve been sewing since I was roughly 10 years of age thanks to my beautiful one of a kind nan (pictured with me below) .... After spending 12 months in Shanli Perkins fashion design course at Don College in 2019 and making it to AATFA Nationals with all of her incredible help, my love for fashion and sewing blossomed and I decided to start my own little side business. On top of making and creating for all of you fabulous people I also work 2 jobs (so if an order ever has a 3 week wait, then this is probably why and I do apologise!! ). If I’m not working or sitting at the sewing machine pumping through orders, then you will more than likely catch me at the gym, hanging out with my best babes/boyfie or kicking back and binge watching a Netflix series . I am so excited for what is to come for the rest of the year.. the Truly Tasmanian Craft Fair, lots of Christmas specials and of course our 1st birthday . I want to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who has supported my journey so far, especially my family. You are all gems . 05.01.2022 Over 200 scrunchies later, and it’s all over.. for 2020 anyway I want to say a massive thank you to all of you who came and visited our stall over the 3 day weekend, and an even bigger thank you to those of you who made a purchase or placed an order - there’s no possible way to show how grateful I am for your support, but seriously you da best It’s been a wild couple of weeks getting stock made up for this awesome event - including a couple of late nights over this week...end to ensure I had enough stock! And it all wouldn’t have been possible without the support of some people very important to me I have some big plans for next years @trulytasmaniancraftfair... but for now, I’ll be jumping into my pj’s and binge watching some Homeland on Netflix before continuing to smash out all of your orders tomorrow night!
