19.01.2022 Dear valued clients, Wow! What a year has just unfolded before our very eyes. 2020 will most certainly be remembered by us all in one way or another!... For each of you I hope that this year has been beneficial by way of any opportunity to see the "silver lining, and perhaps think, and do, things differently. For myself it has certainly been a time of reflection, reassessment, learning new skills, adapting where I can- and to practice acceptance, and simply surrender, when I have no other option. I have discovered a deeper connection within myself, the work I am here to do, and with nature- the beach has provided an amazing place for long walks and contemplation, and becoming more familiar with the increasing birdlife out the back has been incredible! Yes- we are on first name bases! LOL 1. PHYSIOYOGA It has been an honour to be able to keep taking classes at the larger Coolum Beach studio, and continue to guide you through the blend of heartfelt rehabilitation and education as well as self awareness and mindfulness that our yoga practice entails 2. PHYSIOYOGA TERM 1 2021 DATES/FEES We will commence a 10 week Term 1, from 6pm Tuesday 26th January/9.15am Wednesday 27th January until last class Tues 30/Wed 31st March, in Coolum Beach. Fees remain the same- ie $22/class for a weekly term regular spot = $220 for the term, paid before commencement to secure your place. $28/casual visit. Terms and Conditions will be updated soon and can be provided upon request- likely to be sent out in a New Year email anyway. 3. PHYSIOFIT At this stage the Mudjimba studio is still not open due to the lack of viability because of Covid regulations. However should this change the studio will reopen as soon as possible, and you will be notified ASAP. Those of you with credits are still welcome to choose the alternatives provided in previous emails. 4. OTHER (EXCITING!) POTENTIAL CHANGES Due to the lack of options opening up despite some investigation and enquiry to appropriate spaces, I am presently reviewing creating a studio on the front of my property. There are other property maintenance works underway as we speak, so in the new year watch this space as I will gladly inform you once decisions have been reached. 5. PHYSIOTHERAPY SERVICES DEC/JAN The clinic remains open over the festive season, as bodily aches and pains don't usually stop for Xmas either Last, but not least, thank you all very much for your ongoing support and understanding through a particularly challenging year, and in uncertain times. I appreciate that you still contact me as/when needed, and refer family and friends. As you all know, I will always go that extra mile to be of service, and get the best results possible for you and your loved ones. 13.01.2022 2021 THEME- LISTENING TO YOUR BODY We can all be more aware of our body and the wonders of its energetic nature which may compel us to focus more closely on nutrition and exercise, sleep, and the overall management of our energy and how and what we spend it on. Maybe the desire to take better care of your body is due to the understanding that all other kinds of stability and health stem from it- mental, emotional and spiritual health, and even financial- are so much easier t...o attain when you also have physical health. A new year is a good time to reevaluate any exercise or diet routines you have. Rather than thinking about both in terms of what you think you 'should' be doing, though, you may want to instead look within each day, and listen to what your body wants. Try taking a few minutes to ask your body what it really needs to do in terms of exercise and diet, remembering that if you ask yes/no questions, you may get a much clearer directive. Asking your body itself could provide you with a much greater realisation about its most basic requirements. Practice of this technique leads to refinement of your ability to stay in tune with your body and it’s rhythms. Learning to listen to our bodies allows us to do what is best for our overall wellbeing. Even though we may read that some type of diet or another is good for us, it is really only when we take the time to explore what our bodies really need that we will get the true answer, for our bodies have wisdom and consciousness that is much more visceral and intuitive than we may realise. By checking in with your physical being each day about its needs, you will be further along the path toward vibrant health and happiness for your entire being. Namaste
