12.01.2022 I was so excited to meet Beautiful little Oakley yesterday. Her Mum brought along some old family heirlooms to use for the photos and OMG .!!! 08.01.2022 Lets talk about new dads!. It is often rarely spoken of, The question of how are you doing? Gets asked often with the same repetitive response" we are all doing good" ! But are you dad? Are you doing good?... Dads go through changes just as much a new mummas do, but we quiet often forget to truely and genuinely ask dad if he is ok. We tell mums it's ok to ask for help, to talk about Post Natal Depression openly and honestly, but the questions and concerns always seem to bypass the new dads. Men have concerns, men have anxiety,stress, depression, men go through hormonal changes. Men do all they can to support their partners in her very trying time, whilst just like mumma,trying to figure it all out and be a good daddy and partner. Men don't often discuss amongst their mates and families of how they are truely coping! New dads it is ok, what you are feeling and going through is normal, You are not alone. Communicate with your partner is a good place to start, Talk to your Mates, your Family Yes, this means talking. Opening up. Admitting that you are struggling. Nobody says it will be easy, It takes a lot of courage and effort, but it can really pay off. Often simply talking about these feelings can improve the situation greatly. Getting some of the heaviest emotions off your chest will likely bring some immediate relief. Talk to your dr. Take some time for yourself. But please know You are doing an incredible job. You are just as important. You are valued, you are appreciated, and you are so very very loved.
