18.01.2022 Time to step it up! Getting closer to your Shodan means lots of hard work. Starting a couple of weeks back Sempai Sasha (added on top of her already busy schedule of training and fitness) 100 full push ups a day for the first week, then 110 the following week. She even got her sets in while mopping the mats . These challenges will test and push her for the remainder of this year!! 11.01.2022 Hi all, Sasha here. I asked Sensei Luke if I could put a post on here to say a few words. With no training the past couple of months and restrictions on how we are able to currently train some of you may have lost interest or motivation or maybe think it is pointless to come to class until normality returns. As a fellow trainer I wanted to say that now is the perfect time to get back on the mats! With fitness based classes and solo drills it is a great way to ease back into ...training. I loved last weeks classes as it was stripped backed to basics. We all like doing fancy techniques but its the fundamentals that are important and to have the time to spend perfecting our rolls and striking and all those little things to improve our skills is awesome. I am thankful to have this time. As you all know training is great for your mind and body and I would hate to see people drop out because they lost heart, it is the same awesome club it has always been so I hope to see you all back soon supporting Sensei Luke and making the most of this opportunity.
