06.01.2022 Let me introduce you to LINDA aka MUM she’s taking some times out of her days away from her PT to help her very busy daughter! Lol she will be answering phones & cleaning. As I will be on the floor doing miracles with everyone’s Mop hair! She’s great as a PT but unfortunately not with hair lol so she will only be able to take your name and number and pop u on the list for a call back when we are free. 04.01.2022 Hey Blondies! Let’s chat about your colour... Do you have issues with... 1. Feeling dull & brassy even after a colour 2. The ends being more yellow than the top. 3. When using blonde shampoo it’s leaves the hair with patches of purple & yellow.... 4. Your hair feeling really dry or damaged after going blonde. If you answered YES, you are not alone! The top example is one of the ways to get your blonde back on track again. What happens is depending on your hair (thickness, natural colour, health) this will determine how long it will take to clean your hair out back to a nice clean blonde again. With blondes over time you will start to get 2-3 shades of blonde. The lightest blonde will be that amazing clean/creamy blonde you love (no yellow) the other 2 shades will always fade yellow. The issue here is. Not even a toner can fix this. When you want a white blonde toner it’s on the highest level which means it will only tone the hair on the highest level. The other shades will stay yellow. So to fix this we have to drop the shade down a level or 2. Which then tones the brassy blonde, but then that white cream tone also goes darker and in some cases will overtone which will throw (grey, purple, lilac) tones. This can sometimes feel like your blonde doesn’t get bright enough. So in the above picture. We have to start again by cleaning the hair all out back to where all the strands of hair are back to the lightest level. This takes a few applications & needs a lot of care. Once the blonde has reached its highest level, you won’t have the above issues for at least 6 months sometimes longer depending on the hair & maintenance. I hope this has given you more understanding of the journey of being a blonde. I always suggest a clean out at least once-twice a year to get your blonde super bright and clean again.
