07.01.2022 Hi guys, thought I'd share this great incentive offered by Swimming WA. SPIRIT AWARD Swimming WA is offering a $1000 voucher for the club that shows the best spirit at every night of this weekends age and open state championships. ... The award was created to build a stronger sense of community within Swimming WA Clubs and promote the fantastic performances throughout the State. In addition, the award will help build a more vibrant atmosphere at Meets, simulating an environment that athletes will face at National Events. We wish good luck to Lillian as she attends Championships over the weekend with her Womens 13 year and over 50m freestyle event. Lots of cheering from her family to show "Spirit" ! Good luck sweetie

01.01.2022 Club Night last night Just a few points to remember for club nights please. ** please parents remind your swimmers to sit down in the bays and do not run to play on the grassed area / playground. Your name will be called out 3 times (or more in last nights case), if you are not present you will be scratched from your event. ... ** there is an event sheet attached to the board positioned between the 1st/2nd bay. Parents please remind your swimmers, they can check their names / event on the board. If the kids can eliminate the need to come see the Marshall that would be a tremendous help ! I usually get swamped with kids wanting to know all sorts of things. (Which I don't mind, but we would all like to get home at a reasonable time. So the quicker and smoother things operate, the better for all.). Thanks guys.
