23.01.2022 *Community Update* The blessed month of Ramadan is upon us, and again certain Imam's boards and organisations in Australia have already announced the first day of Ramadan days out from it's start.... As such, it has left many sincere brothers and sisters who have always correctly understood that the month of Ramadan cannot start without a valid moon sighting, feeling overwhelmed, disheartened, or made to feel like they 'just want to argue' when in fact they only seek to follow the strongest daleel (evidence). Many of these people actually followed this opinion when once adopted by Imams who now follow the pre-determined announcements. So the discussions need to be had, not because anyone wants to argue, but because they have gheerah (jealousy/concern) for the Deen, and will be accountable in front of Allah (swt) for remaining silent when they see a violation of the ahkaam shariah. Truly, the Ummah will be in strife if it no longer asks the question "Upon what Islamic evidence is this opinion built?". But it will be equally concerning if we accepted our Imams to reject being asked for evidences in the first place. 11.01.2022 25/05/2020 Respected members, Alhamdullilah today is our joyous celebration of Eidul Fitr, to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan. We mark this day by thanking Allah, by melodiously chanting our praises to Him: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar; La ilaha il-lal-Laahu Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar wa Lil-Laahil hand! (Allah is The Greatest, Allah is The Greatest, Allah is The Greatest! There is no god but Allah! ...Allah is Greatest! All praise is due to Allah!) This year Eid Salah is performed differently due to Covid-19 crises, some performed Eid Salah at homes and some performed in small groups in parks, May Allah make it easy for us. May Allah help us and protect us all, with our loved ones during this difficult time. Aameen During Ramadan we fasted to show our love and obedience to Allah, to get closer to Him. We avoided everything that would displease Allah, we fasted so that Allah would count us amongst His obedient beloved servants. Alhamdullilah we have done many acts of worship including offering Salah, giving Zakat, Sadaqa and Fitrah. In addition, we provided food for the needy, some members of the community came forward to help prepare the food, some of the members contributed for its expenses, some members contributed and requested for Dua-E-Magfirah and some requested for Dua-E-Shifa. May Allah accept their offering and fulfil their desire, Aameen. This is in Allah’s plan, and we must accept with good grace whatever Allah has decreed for us. If we are content with Allah’s Decree, then Allah rewards us further from His limitless bounty. In one hadith, Prophet Muhammad said that The best of deeds are small ones, repeated often. It’s so much better than the grand gesture that we may offer, sometimes just for show, once in a while. Small good actions repeated often, grow into good habits, and good habits cultivate good character. 10.01.2022 *Community Update* Alhamdullilah Al-Hasanat successfully completed 1st term school holidays program and it was an amazing response from within and outside Al-Hasanat community. ... Alhamdullilah Al-Hasanat kids activity event was wonderful, colourful, playful, energetic and fantabulous. kids were involved in the following activities: 1. Physical activities: Construction of glass pyramid/ target games/ marble race, spoon race, tug of war and obstacles race. 2. Educational activities: rhymes session /sorting the shapes and colors/ activities to develope problem solving skills, decision-making skills and identifying obstacles skills / team work 3. Outdoor Sports: Running, stretching, tennis and soccer. Al-Hasanat appreciate the efforts, time and energy put by the parents for making our event successful. It was an excellent team effort. Pictures will be updated on face book page. Looking forward to see you all for the 2nd term school holidays program.
