11.01.2022 any enquiries on what is happening with Al Samer please send me a PM

04.01.2022 Sadly, I have no good news at the moment. My plans to breed Al this season and even maybe ever again are gone and looks like he will have to stay at the Glen Eden Stud until March now - which is only because of an injunction order I had to take out to protect Al from being moved or disposed of when the stud never had an agistment agreement with me or an actual lien on him and with the stud having illegally bought him in February (which they admitted), then refused to accept p...roof I bought him in April & release him to me, which is the case still, even though told by VCAT on 28/10/19 that I do legally own him and 2 other mares. It was very distressing to find out for the first time on that day as well, that Al Samer had a hock injury last Dec & vet report from x-rays done in Feb '19 (note then illegally bought), states he may not be able to serve mares again. One has to ask why this & other injuries Al had in 2018 or how they happened (still not known) were never disclosed until 28/10/19 to his former owner, & why he was & now me, also denied having any say in Al's care or to remove him when no liens have ever existed? Won't give photos of him, my mares, or any info at all on their foals (also no liens on mares or foals) or allow me or my own vet to see them either. And that's just the tip of the iceberg! Obviously Al's future breeding abilities due to injury are very uncertain, but I do thank everyone who wanted to breed to him this year for their support. Looks like March now until this legal rubbish will be settled. See more

04.01.2022 So Glen Eden Stud can post lots of lovely videos and updates on horses at their place but still refuse to reasonably send me any info, pics or videos on Al Samer, Super Factor, Blood Red Rose and my 2 foals which are now yearlings! SERIOUSLY THINK before sending any horses there! Anyone else who has "lost" horses to this stud should contact me because there is alot of proof they take and sell people's horses illegally!!!

03.01.2022 This stuff is just mind boggling! The Glen Eden Stud's director Sonia O'Gorman has admitted in evidence given to VCAT they never had any liens on Al Samer or Miss Edstein's other 2 mares Superfactor and Blood Red Rose under the Impounding of Livestock Act,( which specifically applies in Victoria when there is no written lien in a contract) and that they have never had any account or agreements with Miss Edstein. It is nothing short of amazing they still refuse to accept that... by not having any liens, their keeping these horses AND still charging their former owner for their ongoing care when they ended his account in writing last February (yes you read that right - their former owner!) - is illegal. Our full support goes out to Mint Lane's owner Darren Guy who has now also taken legal action against Glen Eden Stud to try and recover his gorgeous boy and the many mares and foals he owns which this stud has also just taken* Update: Darren Guy managed to get all his horses back immediately after taking the matter to VCAT :-)
