19.01.2022 Photo of the week: love this plant, I'm always amazed of it's vibrant purple. I just realise that I might have said that every years but too bad those Hardenbergia certainly deserve a medal not only they are gorgeous but they resist the Murray bridge heat and frost so well without mentioning the pitiful soil we have or should I say the rocks we have and the soil we lack

18.01.2022 Photo of the week: you need the sound up for this one. We have a special VIP guest at A La Folly he's been hanging around in our garden for about a week now and i bow down to him every morning . Love this bird of good omen, he apparently invited a few of his friends, we have about 3 of them now . So please join me and let's venerate the rain bird so happy our garden is enjoying the rain with an explosion of flowers so grateful to quench its thirst already present. Happy rainy day everyone.

14.01.2022 Photo of the week: we love it when our guests are living traces of their stay, well these type of traces

12.01.2022 Photo of the week: here's a lovely gift from a couple of our favourite guests a Loquat, last year they offered us a peach tree soon we'll have a whole fruits salad thanks to them big thank you J&C.

10.01.2022 Photo of the week: don't forget to say hi to our girls when you come and visit. Those beautiful girls, Sophie and Emma are up for adoption. Ask Stef or Rob for details. Donations accepted on behalf of "Windamere Horse Heaven", they have plenty more horses up for adoption and in need of sponsors, for as little as $10 a week.

10.01.2022 Photo of the week: those are some tough flowers when everything else suffered from the frost the snap dragon are still flowering and thanks to them we still can decorate our dishes with edible blossoms

08.01.2022 Photo of the week: last summer we decided to let the delicate cottage plants die because so far we "spent" to much water trying to save them from the summer roasting and yet loosing them in winter. To replace them we are going for the natives and among them we discovered the Eremophila not only they are tough and built for our soil and climate but there is a huge range of them from groundcover to small trees and they are full of gorgeous and colorful flowers to the delight of our bees, most flower on and off throughout the year. So here are a few of our collection:

08.01.2022 Photo of the week: great news our beautiful Emma has been adopted and is gone to her forever home. Since Rosie fattened up she is now gone to have a bit of work done so she can be adopted as well. In a couple of weeks we'll be fostering 2 new horses. Please remember that Windamere Horse Haven welcomes donations.

06.01.2022 Photo of the week: this is not a little tower on top of the workshop just a little hotel for our beautiful birds, lizards and insects hopefully they'll like it

02.01.2022 Photo of the week: even though spring is a bit late this year the flowers are popping out everywhere and we are definitely enjoying the rain and cool weather In the last picture are the native plants yet to be planted

02.01.2022 Photo of the week: come and meet Rosie (without the white patch) our new arrival, Sophie had to go for a foot treatment so to keep company to Emma we have Rosie a gorgeous 4 years old standard bred. She is so sweet, loves the attention, loves her cuddles and would give you her feet without fuss. She's just a big baby and so funny too we love her so much already.
