15.01.2022 Dear parents and student of year 8, The double storey portables have been dropped and are looking great, so far! Unfortunately, our new year 8 building will not be accessible for tomorrow’s classes. A building inspector needs to review the building and it is therefore expected to be completed by tomorrow afternoon. Our fingers are crossed that we can enter the building Thursday. For tomorrow, the year 8s will be using the prep space (as they do not start til next week) as wel...l as spending some time in the theatre and in one of their electives. Please find attached the key of which homeroom will be using which prep class. All year 8 students are asked to meet on the agora steps in the morning before we enter the theatre for assembly, roll marking and further instructions. They will be dismissed from the garden area near the lockers at the end of the day. Thanks for your understanding and we are excited for our new space. Lyn

14.01.2022 Dear Families, Runners for the New Gym Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 Dear Parents & Guardians,... Our Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 students have been given the opportunity to utilise our brand new gymnasium for physical education in the secondary building. In order to maintain the quality of our state of the art gymnasium, we kindly request that students purchase a new pair of runners specifically for the use of this facility. Although our school uniform policy requests that students wear black runners, any colour would be adequate. These runners do not need to be of any prohibitive cost, as a pair from any department store such as K-Mart, Big W or Target would be satisfactory. It would be greatly appreciated if these runners were not worn at any other time or for any intended purposes other than PE or Sports Training in our new gymnasium. Therefore, students are requested to not wear these runners to school, instead they can simply place these runners in a bag that is then kept in their school bag. Students will be given time to change into these runners prior to their PE lesson in the foyer of the gymnasium. These measures have been put in place to ensure we maintain the high quality of our new gymnasium facility. Unfortunately if students do not have the correct footwear they will not be able to participate. Please see the below Timetable with your child’s allocated gymnasium time. Term 1 - Timetable A - Matthew Cramp Term 2 - Timetable C - Ginger Brown Term 3 - Timetable D - Jacqui Deckker Term 4 - Timetable B - Danni Galante We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this request. If you have any concerns in relation to the above, please feel free to contact us. Kind Regards, Primary PE Team. Please see below an example of runners that cost $8. These runners are available to purchase from Big W however Kmart also have a great range.
