21.01.2022 So little did I know, my ducks have races.. and there’s always this one duck that wins by a mile, but it seems here that they froze for the camera so I wouldn’t know! How dare they do this to me! No Secrets can be kept from the camera!

19.01.2022 This is a cute picture of Archie that I took a few weeks ago| On another note, WE FINALLY GOT SOME RAIN! We got about 30mm a few days ago and 89mm on Sunday & Monday! Everything was so dry and yellow before the rain. The chickens were losing grass and we were having to water the horse paddocks. The only thing that kept the place so green was the morning mist that we get. Everyone is so happy that we got a lot of rain because everyone’s grass is turning green and their dams have filled back up! What’s the weather like where you live? 16.01.2022 Meet Toby. He is a 17hh thoroughbred and is my brothers horse. He used to be a race horse until he stopped racing and we bought him. He has only been ridden a handful of times once he stopped racing. How many horses do you have? Let me know in the comments below!

13.01.2022 Meet Diesel, He is a 3 year old Kelpie. Yes he is a farm dog but no he is not used for rounding up animals although in some situations he can be really good at it. He loves rounding up anything that can move. That includes cars, the golf buggy, the horses and the neighbors cattle.

10.01.2022 Our chickens love to free range! I still can’t believe that battery cages are still a thing in Australia! Even the free range birds are still being treated horribly. Though I’m proud to say that all of our chickens are living an awesome life with lots of space, green grass and tasty foods including watermelon, lettuce, corn and much more! What special foods do you feed your chickens? If you don’t have chickens what would you feed them? Let me know in the comments below!

08.01.2022 Everything is very busy at our farm! There has been so much to do and so much on our minds I have completely forgotten to post! I am sorry and will try to pick up posting again. Anyways the grass is growing really fast here and is hard to keep up with. We are coming into autumn yet it does not feel like it! It’s been hot over the past few days so we’re all wondering when the Autumn weather is going to kick in! Would you prefer me to have better quality photos and post less or have not as good quality photos and post more? Let me know in the comments below.

07.01.2022 Meet Archie. He is a 3 year old smooth/ wire hair Jack Russell. We have to have him inside or on the long lead most of the time otherwise the moment he saw something he would just run and never come back! Anyways just to rap it up his current hobby’s are digging holes and whining for the chickens. Do you have a dog or dogs at home? If so what are their names?

07.01.2022 If you have never seen a chicken lay an egg, now you have! I had just finished filming in the chook pen when I saw a chicken was just about to lay. I sat there and watched not thinking about filming when just at the right moment the idea popped into my head. Our eggs get sold within a week of being laid VS store bought eggs which are sold up to a month after being laid! Alana Miller Eggs - As fresh as it gets!

02.01.2022 Double Yolker!! I love getting double yolkers but the only downside is that I can’t give them to my customers because they don’t fit in the egg cartons! Do you love it when you get a double yolker? Let me know in the comments below!
