Here are a few things about me: I first started studying in the beauty industry in 2015, and went on to complete a diploma of beauty therapy in 2017. I have owned my business for 9 months and prior to this was working in a salon full time when I finished my diploma. ... Classic lashes: Classic lashes are the most natural type of lash extension as they are applied on a 1:1 ratio, meaning that one single lash extension is applied onto one natural lash which allows the client to achieve a more natural set of lash extensions. Classic lashes are recommended for clients who have never had lash extensions before and are a great set to start off with. ... Hybrid lashes: Hybrid lashes are a mixture between both classic and Russian volume which means that the ratio can be between 1:1 and 1:6 depending on the clients desired look. Russian volume: Russian volume can create more fullness then hybrid and classic lashes as a ‘fan’ of lash extensions are attached to one natural lash. A lash extension fan contains a ratio between 1:2 and 1:6 (meaning that 2- 6 extension fibers are attached to one natural lash). 2D- 4D would achieve a more subtle and natural look, where as 5D- 6D would achieve a more dramatic look.
