23.01.2022 We had a "super cell" event at Charlton at about 6pm last night. Alan and Will ran out in the hail to put cars in the shed and when they drove up the back the shed was flat on the ground! The roof was blown off another shed, trees snapped in half, 3 power poles on the ground. No power - we had a great evening playing 500 by candle light with the Boys!

14.01.2022 David commented that he was very happy to work at Alan Brett Mechanical if we could keep the wildlife to a minimum....? 3 years ago one of our Withcott customers Doug Sowerbutts, came in with his old Land Rover, and a carpet snake was sitting up on the chassis. He sat there with his forked tongue going in and out watching David replaced the rear brakes on both sides. Doug took the vehicle home with said carpet snake still riding the chassis! Fortunately David didnt realize the snake was there until he had finished the job!

11.01.2022 Kevies pride and joy is in today for a little TLC. It is a 1978 Holden HZ Kingswood SL sedan with jellybean mags, 253 V8 auto, twin exhaust system to give it the neat note, bucket seats and complete with white fluffy dog on the rear parcel tray!

03.01.2022 The Toowoomba Clay Target Club 2 Day Trap Shoot was a great success with 122 shooters having registered by Sundays End. Toowoomba Shooter, Thomas Brett manag...ed the only 50/50 to take out the Zoli Shotgun in the Handicap. After many years, Geoff Moore finally made the trip to Toowoomba and it paid off with him taking our the Overall High with a comfortable margin. 01.01.2022 Thanks Rod Cribb for returning my spanner. This spanner has been all the way to "Murra Downs" Cunnamulla, and back to Toowoomba under the bonnet of Cribbys vehicle, a round trip of some 1200 km and on a rough old bit of dirt road!
