24.01.2022 The new tax year is here effectively and many of you will be eager to do your tax for the possible refund which will no doubt be welcome. However, trying to do your tax before your employer tells you that the information is tax ready Will/ could either hold up the refund while the ATO check you haven't left any income out or result in a bill which will have to be paid to the ATO. So I would ask you to not rush in before advised it's tax ready or make contact with your tax agent to confirm whether it's tax ready or not.
