24.01.2022 Well, as a wedding celebrant, I get to see some of the best locations in Western Australia, and every wedding is unique. Today was a first for me. The wedding was on the top of the Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs and the bride and groom made quite an entrance.

24.01.2022 When young Irish couple, Stephen and Aine, couldn't get back to Ireland for the big wedding, the next best thing is to invite 16 of your mates on a wine tour to Swings & Roundabouts winery and forget to tell them all that you were getting married. This photo depicts the moment when I interrupted their wine tasting, with Dave from Castle Media to inform them that they were really at a wedding.

24.01.2022 What a beautiful morning at Wise Winery Eagle Bay at Monique and Ben's wedding. Great to work with Dave from Castle Media once again and Charlee Jones Music did an outstanding job. If you are looking for a wedding singer, 16 year old Charlee is a ripper. Also great to catch up with proud grandfather and mate, Peter Clarke.

23.01.2022 What I love about living in Australia. Where there is a will there is a way and love will prevail. Caves House Hotel Weddings, rain and social distancing, but we got it done. All these years later, as his wedding celebrant, I instructed him to kiss his bride. And what a beautiful bride Simone was. Congratulations Steven and Simone.

But I must say, Caves House Hotel in Yallingup has something quite magical about it. 19.01.2022 A week of horrid rain and storms and then this beautiful Saturday at Swings & Roundabouts Winery. Congratulations Stephen and Aine, Irish eyes were smiling. Perfect, perfect perfect!

19.01.2022 What a beautiful place for a wedding Voyager Estate in Margaret River. Stella and Ken flew in from Hong Kong on Monday, with 13 close friends to witness their special day. I am so glad I could be a part of it. Married on Wednesday and fly home on Friday. Safe travels.

Well done to Swings & Roundabouts for their flexibility, great work done by Blush + Bloom wedding planners and ex student of mine Jake Crawford Jake Crawford Media. Despite the weather conditions, once again, love prevailed and Tayla married her cricket legend Jordan. I love this job.

18.01.2022 Well, we have nearly finished our second solid Jarrah, octagonal wedding arbour. We have no plans for this one. Any thoughts? Will be finished in a couple of weeks. Us retired old educators are having fun.

18.01.2022 Wow, what a ride! As wedding season is about to start, it amazes me that over the past 5 years I have turned an idea, a hobby, into my new favourite thing to do. Thirty six years in education, 29 as a school principal and now semi retirement into a role that is all about happiness. To those couples who have placed their trust in me.........thank you. 10.01.2022 When the little girl who lived next door in Collie grew up and decided to get married, I was thrilled to be asked to be her celebrant. But she knows me too well and combined my other passion, woodwork. Kirsty and Adam picked up their recycled Jarrah octagonal wedding arbour today, in readiness for their wedding next week. A couple of retired Principal mates and I had a ball making the arbour and can't wait to see Kirsty and Adam standing in front of it on their big day.

10.01.2022 A great wedding at Old Broadwater Farm in Busselton yesterday, congratulations to Aimee and Keegan. Great to catch up with the O'Brien boys and the hockey crew. But this afternoon at Heathcote Reserve in Applecross, a family wedding. Congratulations to Cara and Ben. It was wonderful to be your celebrant and great to have my parents, Norm and Marie watching me do what I do as a celebrant. Dad turns 90 next month and is probably kicking up his heels on the dance floor right now at the reception.
