15.01.2022 Nice little job, satisfied the sailor in me. A compass rosette for Ken Gourlay, round the world sailor 2006. Background is huon pine, the compass rosette is blackwood and myrtle. A very traditional feature in yachts. Follow the instructions and make your own!

11.01.2022 Working on a new range, moving into solid timber and metal combo, so made this one for my gorgeous daughter and husband as a wedding present. Very happy with the lines, for those woodies out there it has a tapered sliding dovetail to allow the top to move (expand and contract) yet it will still hold the top flat. This being very important for a solid timber construction. Thinking of doing a small production run, anybody interested?

06.01.2022 A really simple bed for the local Buddhist Lama, more about the social interaction. He and his followers walk past the workshop everyday, so on completion delivery was easy, they walked it back to the temple.

06.01.2022 Print makers tool box. Four draws to hold A2 prints, the top is divided to take tools. Constructed from Palisander (Brazilian Rosewood), Ebony and Ivory, with Huon Pine internals. Much of the Ebony and Ivory are upcycled from old piano keys. Made as a surprise birhtday gift for the client's wife.
