20.01.2022 The children have mastered carrying the shopping and putting it away in appropriate places- dry food/ vegetable box/ cold items/ milk. It takes a team and i must admit it is one of my least favourite household things to do so I save my shopping deliveries for when they are here... team building and well because shopping doesn’t put itself away! #lifeskillsforkids #takingturns #teamwork #scientificresearch

05.01.2022 We have been lucky enough to borrow a small amount of frogspawn from a neighbours garden so that the children can observe the tadpoles closely as they change and develop and grow into frogs. They will end up in a local pond. I have have set up a small investigation area where they can make observations of all the developments that they can see, while also finding out more information. Today we discussed what tadpoles and frogs eat and that they were once a tiny little egg. Jojo added that they were like a butterfly which lead to discussions about life cycles. We will add to this daily.
