25.01.2022 Introducing the newest member of Alarisstud. AMBER ROSE

24.01.2022 Hi everyone. It has been along time since I have posted on my Saint Bernard page. A lot has happened since 2014. We have moved to a 10 acre property at Nelshaby near Port Pirie in South Australia. We are about 250kms north of Adelaide. In other words we have had a tree change. River has passed on and her Granddaughter little Amber Rose has grown up! She is 2years and 6 months old she is expecting her first puppy litter on August 2nd. 2016. Refer to puppy notice on dogzonline.com Amber is the Saint bathing in the stock trough and the other saint is Kasey.

21.01.2022 Cully, my old Saint who is 8 years old is resting in the second photo. She loves doing perimeter duty and talking to the sheep that belong to the neighbours but run on our land.

20.01.2022 Iggy says hello from NZ

20.01.2022 Amber Rose was born on February 15th 2014. River is her Grandmother and Cully is her Auntie. We are still patiently waiting for Cully to come into season again. She seems to be taking her time! When she does she will be mated. Cully and River have taken to Amber Rose very well. After a good sniff they decided she was okay and could stay. We still miss Maggie Rose very much but now hopefully we will be able to carry on our saints bloodlines. More of our Saint Bernards adventures to come!

17.01.2022 Hi everyone, Unfortunately Cully isnt pregnant. Cully and Maggie Rose will be due to come into season again in approximately 6 months time so I will have another try then. It is the first time in 10 matings that I havent achieved a pregnancy with one of my Saints so I guess it had to happen some time! Cheers Cris.

16.01.2022 We are proud to announce that Amber Rose is pregnant! Confirmed by Ultrasound. 7 puppies were shown on the screen but there maybe more hiding! They are due January 20th. 2018. It will be a rough coat litter. Beamzstar Saintly is the father. They will be due to go to their forever homes 17/3/2018. The price of a Saint Bernard puppy is $4,000. This includes a written vet health check, vaccination, microchip, regular worming and a pedigree paper placed on a limited register at D...ogsSA. The puppies come with written information regarding diet, exercise and general health. There will be weekly updates and photos of the puppies as they progress. I use Jet Pets to send puppies interstate or overseas. I am here to provide lifelong support for you and your puppy. 11.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone. River and Cully are getting into their christmas treats. Cully [standing with treats] is due to come into season again soon. So hopefully we will have some more little puppies in the new year. Unfortunately we have some sad news. Maggie Rose, Cullys daughter passed away in October. We miss her so much and it was very sad not having her jump up on the bed on Christmas Day. So to the little Saints and their angels Merry Christmas. Cris and Andrew x x

08.01.2022 We also have another addition to our household. Kasey, a Saint Bernard outcross to us [not from our breeding lines]. Her mother is from Lympne Kennels in Queensland and her father is from Canada. Unfortunately she has inherited Discoid Lupus which affects the immune system and her skin. She has had only one outbreak where she lost the black pigment on her nose. This is when skin biopsies were taken and discovered that she had lupus. Kasey recovered very well and hasnt had an outbreak since. So unfortunately she wont be used for breeding but we wouldnt part with her

06.01.2022 Hi everyone, Just letting you know that one of my Saint Bernards, Alarisstud Cully has been mated to Lympne Algernon [Mac] owned by Sue Newman, Gweneden Kennels. Cully will be having an ultrasound to confirm if she is pregnant on July 31st. Watch this space! Cris Howden, Alarisstud.

02.01.2022 Hi everyone, This is Indy. I have found a forever home. I am going to live with my uncle Bruce [aka Max] from Cullys last litter. I will be travelling down to Mount Gambier in a couple of weeks time.

01.01.2022 Hi everyone, I know some people are waiting to see if Cully is pregnant. She had an ultrasound today but no puppies were visable. The vet has suggested another ultrasound on Thursday August 8th as it may have just been too early for them to show. Cross fingers. Cheers Cris Howden, Alarisstud.
