19.01.2022 The things we do for our dogs This morning after many months putting it off.I decided it was time I got my butt out of bed, on my day off, in the rain and do some more socialisation walking in the rain with Miss T. Alot people dont realise that walking your dog in the rain, or in any weather really (unless its harmful in someway too hot etc) is just as important as going out on a lovely day. As there are many different things going on during a rain walk (obviously the rain i...tself and how it feels around them in a different environment but also puddles, mud, other wet dogs, other animals come out, people with umbellas and the list goes on).Although she was alittle unsure at the start by the end she was walking through small puddles and basically ignoring the rain in all ways.We were saturated by the time we got back to the car and she did look like a drowned rat and definitely gave me the "really mum did we really NEED to do that" look but mission accomplished. After many months of discussion we are pleased to announce that Alaula Jupiter Rising aka Jupiter has gone to join Alaula Venussunrise aka Maggie and Alaula Fudgeberry Golden Sun aka Dobby out on the farm in sunny QLD for new adventures.She is settling in well and is already bossing her sister around. Thank you to Tash from El Taj for carrying on our Alaula lines we look forward to seeing little puppies, hopefully sooner rather than later, on the ground for years to come. Three girls, one boy. All tri coloured, two liver and tan, two black and tan. And two have tails, and two bobs. My first litter under my prefix and I just wanted to give a shout out to Melanie Williams AND Peter Clarke of Alaula Tente...rfield Terriers for all their guidance and help. They bred mum and Dad of this litter and have been such amazing mentors. Honestly the network of TT breeders and owners I've met are amazing. I have had TTs since I was 12yrs old... so that's nearly 18 years!!! And to finally be at the stage I always wanted to be, breeding and introducing others to this amazing breed, it's pretty amazing." 06.01.2022 Candys Trailblazers are on the move, finding voices now very close to the little howling stage and we have hit the little growl stage super cute trying to be all tough. Working through instincts now just doing what their bodies tell them to. Little bobtail wagging and get super inquisitive. At 3 weeks 3 days we are at 760grams for Whizz the tan coloured boy, 965grams for Flyn and 800grams for Timmy the white bodied boy. Very healthy weights.
