25.01.2022 WELCOME BACK! We are super excited to announce the good news! We are welcoming Albany Community Care Centre back to the world of technology. With an energetic, enthusiastic and reliable team, we thought we would take the opportunity to get back out there and start sharing with our beautiful community again. Please be sure to know, we are in full force while following all COVID-19 guidelines and restriction and will get back to any communications within a 72 hour period (as we... don't monitor over the weekend) So why not go ahead, give us a like, share this post and let's get this awesome news out there! 22.01.2022 HAPPY 5 YEARS TO MAUREEN !! Our amazing Respite Coordinator has been working with ACCC for 5 years today. Congratulations on 5 wonderful years, Maureen. We would like to thank you for all that you do. It most certainly doesnt go unnoticed.... We look forward to many more wonderful memories with you. Thank you Maureen :)

21.01.2022 Congratulations to all the winners of the Valentine's Day Raffle! Thanks to Maureen, Frank and Paul for drawing the prize winners on the day. Winners include Mavis (1st prize), Andrea (2nd prize), Craig (3rd prize) and Aubrey (4th prize). Just over $400 was raised for the Respite Outdoor Area. Well done!

20.01.2022 Did you know? Did you know that ACCC has a Cottage Respite Centre? Our facility has the capacity to accommodate 5 guests and we do our upmost to replicate your usual care and routine. This enables both yourself and your carer to enjoy a short and/or extended holiday ... Its your home away from home. Maureen is our Respite Coordinator and would love to chat and answer any questions about this amazing service, including funding and eligibility. 09.01.2022 Many months ago, a client proposed the idea of making a scarf from teabag strings! Staff and Clients have been collecting these strings ever since! Pictured here is Margaret, one of the fabulous knitters we have here at ACCC, modeling our amazingly, unique TEABAG STRING Scarf . Margaret attends each week with her knitting needles and wool and makes all kinds of wonderful items. Margaret, along with a handful of our other lovely ladies contribute their beautiful handmade it...ems each year towards our craft sale fundraiser. The strings have been knotted together by Maureen James, woven into the scarf by Carl James and kindly donated back to ACCC for fundraising. This scarf is due to be auctioned off on Friday September 11th at our special Barn Dance Theme Day being held at the centre. All money raised will go towards future client events.

05.01.2022 FAREWELL REX, a treasured Volunteer to Albany Community Care Centre. Today at ACCC the Clients, Staff and Volunteers all said our goodbyes to a very special gentleman, Rex, who has volunteered with us since the 20th June 2018. Rex has been such an outstanding, reliable and diligent Volunteer at ACCC who is always willing to lend a helping hand in all departments. Rex and his wife Lynn have decided to make a big move to live in Kalbarri very exciting for the both of them. We... hope you enjoy the warmer weather up there. Rex, you will be dearly missed and we wish you all the very best in your move and your new adventures. We sincerely thank you for all you have done for each and every one of us.

03.01.2022 What an honour it was to fulfill the request of a 98 year old client of the centre and flashback to his memories of the old barn dancing days! ACCC staff merged this with a bit of 50's era theme and oh what fun we all had dancing, signing and laughing together. We would like to mention a special thank you to Albany Stock Feeds for the donation of the hay used throughout the centre. This was a perfect contribution.

Jeff, it is a pleasure every single day to work side by side with you. Staff, volunteers and clients all really appreciate your efforts, as you go that extra mile for all of us whenever you possibly can....
