Once again a huge thank you to the Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) for the grant that allowed us to purchase a new and improved enclosure. 06.01.2022 At C&K Albany Creek Kindergarten we love spending time outside learning and exploring We followed our own interests, explored mud and water, and used natur...e to draw, write, and create We used our imaginations to build and create waterways in the digging patch, used palm leaves to construct shelter, and dug and experimented with dams and volcanoes in the sandpit. We even visited the creek behind our kindergarten, and talked about the world around us We loved being outside and said things like: I liked sleeping outsideit was relaxing. I liked watering the plants on our bushwalkit was fun. I liked walking in the bush, there were so many sounds

05.01.2022 On Thursday 5th November Nature Play Queensland launched their annual "Outdoor Classroom Day". Throughout this week and next our Kindergarten classes joined in on this great initiative. One thing that is clear to our Educators is that children can be thinker and theorists, powerful learners and active citizens both inside and outside. Being outside all day allows children to connect with nature, explore their senses, create projects and much more.
