25.01.2022 LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN The Albany & Districts Cricket Association Under 15 Girls competition got underway this afternoon in Albany with Plantagenet Junior Cr...icket Club, Railways Cricket Club Albany and Great Southern Griffins taking to the field. The girls enjoyed playing with their friends, having fun and developing their skills. Thanks to the amazing support from the clubs, our hard working volunteers many the parents of the girls and our super coaches Bonnie Crook and Holly Pearce. The competition has also been made possible by some awesome financial support from Cricket Australia’s The Next Innings: Accelerating Female Participation strategy funding. A great crowd came to watch and cheered on the girls too. Round 2 is at Sounness Park in Mt Barker next Friday aftenoon.

You must complete the online training, plus a face-to-face session to be held this Sunday 20th September at the PCYC.... Payment will be $50 per game. You must be at least Year 10 age or older. 20.01.2022 To celebrate the return of cricket to Perth and four Perth Scorchers games in 10 days at Optus Stadium, the Cricket Great Southern Regional Board are giving two families (2 adults, two children each) the chance see the Scorchers live on Saturday January 9 versus the Sydney Thunder. To enter, simply register your child for Cricket Blast (5-10 years old) between now and December 31 and go into the draw. Visit www.playcricket.com.au to register your son or daughter.... All Cricket Blast centres in the Great Southern can enter this draw. Prizes will be drawn on January 2.

11.01.2022 The ADCA is seeking a Junior Blaster and a Master Blaster Coordinator for the upcoming season. Ideally you would have a child in the respective age group. As a coordinator you will be the point of contact for all the parents in your age group... with good communication skills being an asset.
