24.01.2022 The Wind Farm is located just outside Albany City Centre. Just follow the signs along Frenchman Bay Road. A short walk from the car park brings you to some of the most spectacular scenery you will ever see along this coast, breathtaking. The view up the hill of all the windmills is just awesome!

24.01.2022 Awesome, beautiful, majestic. This is iconic beauty, wonderful rock formations and a great view of a majestic coastline being pounded by the raw energy of the sea. Amazing!

24.01.2022 The Albany Show and Shine was held over the long weekend and when the sun peeked out from behind the clouds boy did those babies shine!

23.01.2022 On December 7th the annual Albany Christmas Pageant and Festival will on in York St from 4-8 pm culminating in the turning on the lights on the Christmas Tree. It's fun and suitable for people between the ages of 0 to 110, but if you are over 110 you may need to have adult supervision so that you do not get up to any shenanigans.

23.01.2022 What an awesome sight last week, 32 whales playing in the harbour! What was even nicer was as new people turned up to have a look everyone was happy to point out where the last beauty had been seen. How lucky are we to live in such a wonderful place!

21.01.2022 With thoughts turning towards the ANZAC centenary, when you come to Albany, both the Desert Corps Memorial and ANZAC Peace Park are poignant reminders of sacrifices made as well as the part our small town played in the larger scheme of things.

19.01.2022 At Albany Holiday Park we always like to look on the bright side of things. So after the series of storms we’ve had in the region recently, we look at this as less pruning in the spring. But seriously the weather was pretty awesome and we all survived intact and so did the park.

08.01.2022 Once again we had an amazing response to our pet competition. Not only did we have dog photos, there were photos of birds and cats also. Finally the wait is over, all votes are in and Izzy, the kayaking pooch has been crowned Autumns Most Adventurous Pet. Izzy wins a voucher to Better Pets and Gardens and owner Kerry Escott is now a Family Parks Tribal Member, entitled to lots of specials and discounts. If you love Spring like me the 2013 Albany Spring Garden Festival is on at the moment. Sample the delights of our local farmers every weekend at the Farmers Markets on a Saturday or the Boatshed Markets on a Sunday - both an epicurean delight!
