25.01.2022 More Country Pennants 2021....

24.01.2022 Day 4 finals.... Luke and Jake side by side in 200IM Luke finishing 6th after dropping another 1.11sec off his heat PB and Jake finishing 5th with a 5.09sec PB from this morning. ..... that's a wrap for LC State Age Championships!

20.01.2022 Day 4 heats at WA State Age Championships saw action in the 50fr with .... Coco, Luke (Williams) and Jake. Jake broke the 27 barrier, dropping 0.40 seconds. In the 200IM....... Coco achieving a 4.82sec PB Itsuki a 1.46sec PB Jake a 1.90sec PB Luke 1.57sec PB Both Luke and Jake will feature in tonight's finals. The 1500fr had Coco and Itsuki. Coco breaking the 20min barrier with a 23.5sec PB.

16.01.2022 Another great day at CP 2021. Congratulations to all swimmers, medal winners and a special mention to Kia Myers for his record swim in the 50 butterfly . Thanks for all help and timekeepers over the weekend.

04.01.2022 And that’s a wrap on Country Pennants 2021, Mount Barker Congrats to this team.... Team Captains: Luke & Luke... Cam, Tommy, Freya, Max, Clyde, Imogen, Ashton, Billy, Ulrich, Seth, Summer, Matilda, Tariq, Lillian, Christine, Jonah, Kai, Annie, Harry, Emmanuel, Coco, Tessa, Itsuki and Scott You all swam like champions! Team Albany finished second in ‘B Grade’ with a weekend of awesome swimming, team work, fun, PB’s and medals! Special mentions to: 1) Kai who broke the CP record for Boys 10&U 50m Butterfly with a time of 37.55 2) Christine and Emmanuel both finishing in the Country Pennants Top 6 Final Placings for their individual 50m Breaststroke events 3) Our parents who juggled kids, towels, timekeeping, photography, coffee runs and so much more.. We couldn’t do it without you and we truly appreciate each and every one of you! A very BIG thank you to the Mount Barker Barracudas Swim Club for hosting such an amazing event We leave you with a few pics from our weekend of swimming and can’t wait to head to Carnarvon in 2022 - more pics to follow....

03.01.2022 Day 2 heats at WA State Age Swimming Champs..... Woman's 800fr - Coco achieved an amazing 5.33sec PB in the timed finals to be 6th overall in a very competitive field! Men's 800fr - Itsuki backed up from swimming tough finals last night to achieve a 1.81sec PB and finish 9th in the timed finals!... Men's 100fr saw both Luke and Jake compete. Both young men will feature in tonight's 200back, with Luke second fastest qualifier on the back of a 1.58sec PB! Women's 100fr - Coco with an 0.26sec PB in the heats. Women's 200brst - Coco dropping 0.40sec off her PB, earning her a place in tonight's final. Men's 200brst - Itsuki achieved a 1.92sec PB for a finals spot tonight.

02.01.2022 Day 3..... WA State Age Championships... All 400fr action this morning. Coco with a phenomenal 9.18sec PB Itsuki marching on with a 5.14sec PB ... Jake dropping 6.15sec. Both Luke and Jake finishing top 8!! See more

02.01.2022 Day 2 wrap at WA State Age LC Championships... Four swimmers into finals, with Coco and Itsuki in the 200brst, and Luke and Jake in 200back. Highlight of the night is Luke dropping another 1.27sec of this morning's PB to earn him a Silver . ... Well done. Well deserved. See more
