25.01.2022 Hi Everyone , We will be holding our AGM this Friday 6.15pm at Family House 219 North Rd. We know this is late notice but we hope as many of you can make it as ...possible. We will be voting in a new committee for a fresh start to Kinjarling Basketball. The ideas that we represent at Kinjarling Basketball of inclusion, reconciliation and unity are all so important. Our new committee will be working towards all of these goals whilst making it an environment where everybody is understood and heard. This season will just be about your kids playing and enjoying basketball and a few of us will be quietly working in the background getting our club incorporated. The clinic will run over Thursday the 1st of October and Friday the 2nd of October.... The Infernos Basketball Club are promoting this amazing opportunity for our female players on behalf of the Her Hoops. Her Hoops is a female coaching staff, all have professional basketball experience including former Lynx and Fire WNBL players and junior representation for Australian in the U19 Championships. Two of our coaches have played at the D1 level in the USA. Cost is $150 for 8 hours of professional coaching (or $80 for 4 hours). A Her Hoops t-shirt is also available for $10. 11.01.2022 Introducing the 2020 Smarter than Smoking BWA State Titles On the final weekend of the Basketball WA Calendar for 2020, the State Titles will see each of our Ch...ampionship Divisions battle it out at Bendat Basketball Centre in Floreat between Friday 18 December and Sunday 20 December. Each of our 12 ‘Metro’ WABL Associations were eligible to enter one team per Championship Division Under 11s through to Under 19s. With 11 of the 12 Associations entering as many of the ten divisions as possible, three of WA’s Country Regions will also be represented in cooperation with Basketball WA’s Regional Development Officers and programs. The Mid West, South West, and Great Southern will all have teams in a number of Championship Divisions in what is an exciting new addition and concept.

08.01.2022 State Championships COVID19 Update From Saturday 5 December, sport and recreation centres across WA will be required to maintain mandatory contact regist...ers of all staff and patrons visiting venues. The introduction of this measure by the WA Department of Health will come into effect during our State Championships being held at Bendat Basketball Centre. The WA Government have developed the free, SafeWA app, an online contact register that uses QR codes. As a condition of entry, all patrons over the age of 16, attending Bendat Basketball Centre for the State Championships will be required to scan in using the SafeWA app or will be asked to write down their information manually. A QR code will be visible when you enter the venue, with staff also available to assist. To avoid delays, we highly recommend you download the app before arriving at the venue. 02.01.2022 The Albany Basketball Association is pleased time announce that they will be running a Winter Basketball program over term 3 of 2020. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 numbers per court will be limited, therefore numbers for registering and attending Winter Basketball will be limited to first players registered. All players attending Winter basketball must have been registered with the ABA in the 2019/20 season( for insurance purposes). Weekly sessions will involve some skill...s and drills as well as some scrimmages. Players must bring a basketball, mouth guard and their own drink bottle. Cost of attendance is $50 per the 8 week session of Winter basketball. The sessions will run from Monday the 27th of July until Monday the 14th of September.
