24.01.2022 Finally, the soft gloss is now fully repaired. This repair started with a broken bearing that supports the large brush arm on the lefthand side. We fixed this and Pneumatics cylinder arm connection over two days, but when turned on the machine, it did not come back on. So we ordered a new carwash control unit that came from RYKO USA then it flew to Sydney for programing then made its slow journey to Albany. During the long wait, we repaired the cable arm support and installed new bearings and wrapped up the cables in rubber sheets to protect them from rubbing on supports ladders. After some hair pulling this wash now works the way it meant to.

22.01.2022 The HOGZILLA used on all our bays is a premium product by ERIE that has 120mm long hog hairs that we import from the USA as not stocked in Australia. Most other washes use 100mm as commonly available in Australia. Longer hairs are more effective in a cleaning action with a lovely spring in the soft but firm hog pile. This is just one of the little things that makes Albany Car Wash good different.

21.01.2022 The Ryko Radius Ht Automatic Car Wash - Presoak Pump was replaced today after it failed this afternoon. Luckily we had one ready to go in stock. Everything has been tested and is running great. Peter Coppock Manager

07.01.2022 https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=779271332873302 An extraordinary fire has ravaged a vehicle and entire LaserWash bay in South Perth! Earlier this month a vehicle entered the carwash bay and dramatically caught on fire. The vehicle owner was aware of the car smoking prior to entering the bay. Thankfully no-one was harmed.

04.01.2022 We have had two spare flow jet pumps sitting on the shelf for at least 5 years. I have never had the needed to replace one. Today was that day, and I was pleasantly surprised they had a quick-connect hose system that is a real time-saver. That came after eliminating all the many other things that could go wrong. This was last on my mental list.
