22.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS - The Fathers Day Stall has been re-opened on Flexischools but it will close again at 5PM tomorrow (Friday) and wont be re-opened. Please appreciate that once orders close we as volunteers need to print the vouchers sort them per child by class and distribute to the classrooms - before the stalls on Wednesday/Thursday. Thanks for your support and too all our volunteers who help make these stalls possible.

21.01.2022 MOVIE NIGHT: It is getting exciting as our movie night is on Friday 15 October 2021 from 5pm. We have food trucks coming and you can check them out. They are ...Evelyn Street Foods https://www.facebook.com/Evelyn-street-foods-320406132071458 and Alba Catering Japanese https://www.bnefoodtrucks.com.au/alba-catering this is on top of our very on P&C stall which we will be selling nachos for $5 and chicken burgers for $5 along with lollies (price will be updates soon) and drinks for $2 (thank you for all your donations so far) and the movie company will be selling popcorn. All vendors will accept both cash and card. We ask with COVID restrictions that everyone enters through the front gates near undercover area at the back of the hall. All other school gates will be locked. QR codes will be posted everywhere and in line with Government health guidelines please ensure you check in via the App. The P&C committee will also have a stall on entry with raffle tickets for $2 each or 3 for $5. Prizes include a Woolworths gift card, hamper from Councillor Cath Tonks, Club Coops 1 month health club membership, City Cave, Wantima Country Club Bistro voucher just to name a few. Thank you to all who have donated items towards this raffle. Glow wands will also be for sale for $2 so bring some loose change for this. We would also like to shout out and say a big thank you to AGM meats Albany Creek https://www.facebook.com/AgmMeatsAlbanyCreek who have kindly donated all the meat for the P&C Stall and Coles Albany Creek who provided a voucher toward other food items. This is appreciated.

Artefacts of the past and drama presentations will assist children’s understanding of times gone by. Children are encouraged to dress up for the incursion in costumes of times gone by.

14.01.2022 Free dress day tomorrow! In lieu of a gold coin donation, we are asking families to bring empty drink containers to school. The eldest child in each family should be responsible for their familys containers. Containers will be collected from classrooms after assembly.

13.01.2022 Music, Sport and school leader photo day. As per the newsletter, this Tuesday, group photos of sports, music, year 6 and student leaders will be taken. All photos this year will be photographed in normal school uniform (no music performance uniforms or representative shirts). Please remind students to ensure they wear correct school uniform on Tuesday. (Music students have been asked to bring their instruments to school ). Catch up individual photos will also be taken for students who may have missed the class photo day.

A Containers for the Creek free dress day will provide us with an opportunity to celebrate the program weve worked hard to build, and remind us that small actions we take each day can lead to big change. When preparing to bring your containers to school, please remember to: Check for the 10c refund mark ... Remove lids and straws Ensure containers are empty and uncrushed Place them in a disposable bag Please note, we are unable to accept alcohol or plain milk containers. The eldest child in each family should be responsible for their familys bag of containers. The usual free dress protocols apply - closed in shoes, covered shoulders (no singlets or straps), no inappropriate slogans on clothing, no short shorts or midriff tops.
