21.01.2022 I'm enjoying this sunshine, however I also enjoy when it rains because it means puddles!!! I love seeing the fun and excitement of jumping in puddles that children have. Bought my own sparkly gumboots to join in the fun.

18.01.2022 Hi! I’m Stefanie from Albany In Home Childcare, this is a flexible option of childcare offered in your own home where Day Care Centres or Family Day Care do not meet your needs. Just over a year ago I was in Busselton and a nurse friend was telling me about how she uses YMCA In Home Childcare for her children when she is on shift. These are some of the reasons she preferred the In Home Childcare educators to private babysitters: Qualified and vetoed educators... Flexible 24/7 availability Not rushing the children out the door Children sleeping in their own beds Keeping children’s usual activities Accessing the childcare rebate So off I went with my friend to the Busselton YMCA Resource Centre and found out that In Home Childcare wasn’t offered here. Thus began my journey to becoming an In Home Childcare Educator for the Albany region. Over the last year I completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and Certificate IV in School age Education and Care, as well as the modules with YMCA to become an Educator. I have worked on summer camps in America, babysat many children and babies over the years, worked as a nanny and volunteered for Sunday schools. I am also a qualified registered nurse with no restrictions. I am taking time out from nursing to pursue my other interests and eventually to see how I can combine them all. I am excited to be able to offer this flexible option of childcare to the families of Albany. If you have any questions please message me at @AlbanyIHC or email me at [email protected] I look forward to hearing from you! Stefanie

17.01.2022 Hi! I’m Stefanie Fialkowski, bringing In Home Childcare to Albany, this is currently available in Busselton, Australind, Dalyellup, Margaret River, Nannup, Karratha, Pelican Point and Karratha. A bit about me: I have worked in Hospitality for around 10 years in cafes, restaurants, banquets in city and country areas.... I have worked as a carer for people with acquired brain injuries and disabilities, providing care for their daily needs and social activities. I am also a Registered Nurse and worked both in the city and country hospitals. I have worked very varied hours, split shifts, weekends, early mornings, late nights, and I understand that public holidays does not always mean a day off to relax! I have also worked as a nanny for two young children. I have worked on summer camps in America, volunteered as a youth group lead, camp leader, Sunday School teacher, and lots of babysitting. I was also a volunteer with Youth With A Mission providing health care and education in Papua New Guinea. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Albany In Home Childcare, Have a lovely day Stefanie Fialkowski

13.01.2022 I'm returning from Meekatharra and will be back in Albany from the week of Monday 22nd July. It hasn't felt like winter up here with the day temperatures still in the 20s!

07.01.2022 I’m heading up to Meekatharra until mid July to help my Dad out after surgery. I will be back, and I’m sure missing the ocean after being inland for so long. If you are interested in In Home Childcare, we can still start the application process while I’m away, as they need to be completed before care can start. First the application for eligibility and if approved, a meeting with the coordinator. ... Please message if you have any questions about In Home Childcare. Stefanie

06.01.2022 If you are interested in In Home Childcare, the team from the YMCA Busselton Resource Centre are coming down this week, if you would like to talk with them about being approved for In Home Childcare

03.01.2022 Did you know...? If you qualify for the Childcare Subsidy but work or a disability in your family makes childcare difficult to attend, In Home Childcare may be the answer for you!
