A popular author of espionage and thriller novels, his books inspired many TV and movie adaptions including Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy in 2011. As a former spy himself, Le Carré (his pen name) turned down literary honours and a knighthood, preferring a more secretive personal life. 10.01.2022 The Your Online Journey app has been created to share the benefit of using the internet to all areas of Australia, particularly its remote communities. It is targeted at adults in Indigenous communities who are not engaging online, even when internet access is available. The app takes the mystery out of getting online and guides the user in how to stay safe on the internet.
