If you would like pullets and we have not contacted you, please make contact with us asap to order from this July release of PULLETS PULLET INFO- JULY'S FLOCK: Pullets are 14 weeks old at time of pick up Pullets are a commercial egg layer - Hyline, raised free range/pastured, brown/red colour Pullets will lay around 20-22 weeks, during winter they may start laying later as they put their energies into growing and keeping warm The pullets will require a growers ration until they lay and then when they lay a layers ration, we recommend a good protein feed around 20 weeks Please ensure you have a clean, safe and weather proof shelter for your pullets Introducing your new pullets to their coop - place your pullets in their coop for 24 hours so they get used to their new home, they will then also know where to lay Daily: give your pullets access to clean water, fresh food, greens, kitchen scraps, some treats like sunflower seeds and occasionally a splash of linseed oil in their feed for good feather health Top tips (monthly) to look after your pullets gut health: add a splash of apple cider vinegar to their water, optional kefir, occasional weak seaweed solution, crushed garlic, add a sprinkle of fennel seeds to their drinking water Chickens are curious creatures, make their coop interesting and laying areas should have bedding so they can make nests, perches for night time roosting, and areas for sand/dirt bath HAPPY HEALTHY HENS = YUMMY EGGS The pullets in the photo are enjoying a treat of an organic soy bean pulp Pullets $25 each

14.01.2022 It is with a sad heart that unfortunately our club has come to decision to not hold our annual club show in August. With all of the covid19 we were unable to have our Eastern states judges attend with all of the border closures etc and a few other issues. We will be back next year even bigger and better.
