21.01.2022 Well here we are at the end of Term 2 - and what a strange Term it was! We are all very experienced now at holding and attending Zoom Meetings and have a new found appreciation for technology :) Thankyou to all our Youth Members and Parents that joined in with our Zoom Meetings to ensure we could keep Scouting running. While it wasnt what we were used to, we all adapted the best we could. ... A special Thankyou also goes out to our Leaders for doing what they could to keep everyone Scouting at Home. But guess what! We get to resume our Face to Face meetings when we start back for Term 3! We can't wait to see everyone in person again We hope you all have a safe and fun School Holiday Break and we will see you all fresh and ready for Term 3! Take Care
20.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day
17.01.2022 Our poor Venturers campsite copped a bit of battering in Bunbury yesterday with the kitchen gazebo torn to shreds and collapsed tents. Luckily, the Bunbury Venturer legends came to the rescue and offered their hall for night. A massive THANKYOU for your hospitality and help. True Scouting Spirit right there!
16.01.2022 Our Joeys & Cubs went to Mutton Bird Beach today on the hunt for Microplastics and Rubbish to do our bit to help our environment, to keep our beautiful beaches clean and tidy. Thankyou to our Joeys, Cubs, Parents and Leaders that came along to help.
15.01.2022 Congratulations to our Cub Scouts that successfully completed the Leadership Course in Katanning this weekend! And a very big Thankyou to the Katanning Group for organising the course. And a big Thankyou also to our Super Dooper Cub Leader Pelican for organising to get the Albany cubs there to participate and looking after them while they were there :)
12.01.2022 Our Venturers have been busy practicing for the upcoming Rallyvent! Rallyvent is an event where Venturers get to race against other Venturer Teams from across the State, in Time trials, through different courses, on the weekend of 15-16th August at the Bunbury Racetrack. It is a great opportunity for them to learn to drive on gravel in a controlled environment. ... The car pictured has been bought by previous and current Venturers, and then fixed up and maintained for the event through there own fundraising efforts. We cant wait to see photos from the event, not long to go now!
