23.01.2022 In light of recent announcements from the Andrews Government please note that TFV will provide a statement within the next 48 hours that relate to Touch Footba...ll operations across Metro Melbourne. News of a return to Stage 3 restrictions in the metro area is a devastating blow, and we understand that there will be more challenges to come. TFV would like to thank you all for your support as we continue to get through these unprecedented times. For our regional friends, please continue to do the right thing and thank you for embracing the new "Covid normal". Be safe and stay well.

20.01.2022 *Albert Park and Fawkner Park Competitions Update* Sunday's announcement of easing restrictions was great news for Contact Sport, and if restrictions ease as ex...pected, we will have the green light to return to sport soon. Plenty of work has gone in behind the scenes to return to competition as soon as possible. However, due to the tight turnaround time, and the vast amount of work still required to plan a COVID-Safe return to competition, we will need to move the start date of the competitions at Albert and Fawkner Park beyond what we had originally planned. We will now plan for a December 1 start to competitions at Albert and Fawkner Park. This extra week will allow TFV to meet all COVID-Safe obligations, as well as ensure as many people as possible have the chance to join in the competitions. 19.01.2022 Hi all It's great to be finally back on the park! We'll be underway from next week (December 1) with a plan to run 8 weeks of competition between now and early February, when we have to finish due to the Grand Prix. We are currently in the process of finalizing registrations, and fixtures for Round 1 matches and Duty Referee Rosters for Round 1 will be available from tomorrow morning on the Fawkner Park website at https://touchfootball.com.au/vic/albert-park.... Fixtures for Round 2 and 3 will be posted by early next week. In the meantime, make sure all team members are registered to the side via MySideline, and keep an eye out for a preseason briefing video to be posted on YouTube ahead of the summer season. This video will explain the changes we've made for our return to competition. Teams will be invoiced for fees from Round 3. Fees for this season will be reduced in line with the reduced competition, and we will look to finalise these shortly.

18.01.2022 Registrations are now open for Albert Park's summer season! Providing restrictions ease, we'll be underway with a 7 round season from November 25. We will be offering Men's Touch on Tuesday, and Mixed on Wednesday and Thursday. We'll have Switch running Tuesdays from Early November as well. Places are limited, so register now at touchfootball.com.au to ensure you don't miss out. ... Fees will be determined closer to the season starting.

16.01.2022 Winter Registrations are now open! While we wait for MySideline to launch, head to http://bit.ly/tfvwintereoi to register your interest in taking part this winter. As it stands currently, Sport Australia medical guidelines allow community sport to continue, so it's full steam ahead! We're still planning for the season to begin in May, but as the COVID-19 situation develops, this may change.

16.01.2022 One day to go! Weather looks fantastic this week for a start (finally) of Albert Park Touch. Make sure you've looked the fixtures (and importantly, the Duty Referee Roster) at https://touchfootball.com.au/vic/albert-park Things will be a bit different this season with new rules, new procedures and COVID-Safe guidelines to adhere to, so please be patient with referees and ground staff, and hope to see you all at the fields!

With restrictions currently set to allow community sport from July, we will be able to bring modified competitions at both Albert and Fawkner Park this season. Albert Park Touch will be a 6 week competition, starting July 21. Due to other park users, the competition must finish by the end of August. The men's competition will be on Tuesday, and Mixed will be on Thursday (no Wednesday competition for this winter at Albert Park). ... Team numbers at both venues are extremely limited, so register early to make sure you don't miss out! Registrations will be open 12pm TODAY. To register, simply head to www.touchfootball.com.au and search for Albert Park Touch in the competition field.

10.01.2022 Hi everyone, we're currently waiting with baited breath to see what happens with the State of Emergency next week, and hopefully some restrictions will be lifted. We are hopeful that, as restrictions begin to ease, we can look to run a modified competition later in the winter season.
