23.01.2022 Fifa Riccobono AM The staff and broader family at Alberts are thrilled to congratulate Fifa Riccobono on her appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2019 Queens Birthday Honours for her significant service to the music industry. Alberts has shared a long relationship with Fifa dating back to 1968 when she joined J. Albert & Son. During her many years with Alberts Fifa held various positions from Promotions Manager to Label Manager, A&R Manager and ulti...mately CEO, a position we believe she was the first woman to hold locally in an industry that was predominantly male-dominated. Fifa gained the respect of all those who worked with her and was a pioneer in the development of the Australian music industry. This included nurturing the careers of some of Australias most successful songwriters and artists including AC/DC, Harry Vanda & George Young and Rose Tattoo. Fifa spent a number of years on the APRA, AMCOS and AMPAL boards and has also been a director of Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Australia. She is currently a director of Support Act. She is highly respected at Alberts and across the wider industry for her energy, loyalty, commitment to mentoring those looking to build careers within the music industry and her passion for Australian music. We are all immensely proud of Fifa being recognised with this honour.

Recently our community has lost several artists and music workers to suicide. We need to act. Alberts, through the Tony Foundation, has committed funding to help Support Act launch a helpline just for artists and music workers struggling with their mental health. The service will be free of charge, confidential and professionally delivered by people who unders...tand the music industry. Support Act has been chosen by the ABC to be the only charity to benefit from #ausmusictshirtday to help raise the remaining $100k needed to launch the helpline. Its easy to participate in this much-loved event which celebrates Australian music. Wear your favourite band t-shirt on Friday 3 November - get your friends and colleagues to do it too - and make a donation to Support Act via www.supportact.org.au/ausmusict-shirtday. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and thanks to ARIA when you donate youll be in the draw to win tickets to the ARIA awards. A consummate songwriter, trailblazing producer, artist, mentor and extraordinary musician, George was above all else a gentleman who was unfailingly modest, charming, intelligent and loyal; a man with a wonderful sense of humour.... 02.01.2022 MALCOLM YOUNG It is with great sadness that Alberts acknowledge the passing of Malcolm Young. Regularly credited as one of the best rhythm guitarists in the world, Malcolm lived a life dedicated to his family and to his music.... From the earliest days of AC/DC Malcolm displayed the traits that would come to define him and shape the bands success: uncompromising determination, a sharp business mind, an uncanny gift for song-writing, and his musicianship. AC/DC would go on to become one of the worlds greatest rock bands, selling more than 200 million albums. The band was inducted into the American Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003; that same year Malcolm and Angus accepted the Ted Albert Award for Outstanding Service to Australian Music, one of the most respected accolades in the business. Malcolms relationship and friendship with Ted Albert, the founder of Albert Productions, was a truly unique one based on a mutual level of trust and respect and a shared interest and passion for music. While the world has lost one of its most talented musicians, Alberts has lost a dear friend on both a business and personal level. Our thoughts go out to Malcolms wife OLinda and all the members of the Young family, and the music industry at large. His loss will be deeply felt. David Albert CEO
