25.01.2022 Fresh Batch will be out of oven by about 630am. Also for the next ones I will be collecting Yarranbrook Feedlot brisket from John Dee in Warwick tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing the difference in quality of meat for the 3rd batch next week. They will be made with Yarranbrook Beef in the future just wanted to tweak recipe for baste and arrange logistics to pick up meat from Warwick Tony

23.01.2022 It has come to my attention that we may of had a training mix up. Some of the Mexican Pies we made last week were topped with same identifier as Cheese and Bacon Pies. 22.01.2022 UPDATE!!! I have made the decision we will remain closed of a weekend until such time as the border reopens. There will be bread and rolls available in Spar all weekend. I just cant justify the wage cost of weekends in current climate. Tony

It makes it unfair for everyone else if you cant remember to order and expect to clean the shelves out. We bake fresh everyday and I cant overbake just in case someone wakes up Friday morning and decides they want 20 loaves of bread. 07.01.2022 Who recognises this local young fella in this picture. Welcome on board Ryan. Ryan commenced his apprenticeship last week after a probation period was successfully completed and Covid distractions. In a few years time Ryan will be a fully qualified baker/pastrycook and be able to work anywhere he wants to around the world. Just another way we here at the bakery are helping our community by employing locals and giving them as many opportunities as possible. In the over 8 ye...ars we have been open i would imagine it would be well over 30 different people have worked for us. Some longer then others. Some their first ever jobs. Its all a part of being a family run and owned local business and we pride ourselves on it. 01.01.2022 Due to my ongoing concerns with just how many southerners are crossing the border I have decided we will not be opening up fully again next week. This means no to in house dining and no to weekends. I hope you appreciate it wasnt an easy decision however it is the one I have taken for the health and safety of my staff and my community. Whilst I truly appreciate the support I am getting tired of the usual whingers with nothing better to do but complain to my staff.
