24.01.2022 Empire Zoysia Amazing turf, looks divine, like carpet underfoot, many great qualities. One quality that comes to mind straight up is it has it's own built in protection mechanism. What is this protection mechanism I speak of????... When in need of a watering it will give you a sign. It curls it's leaves up so fine that all of a sudden you think you have couch, WOW, what an amazing trick. Two things to remember. First,when you order your Empire Zoysia, please lay it straight away & give it a good drink once you have finished. Because you may notice this trick & think you have couch. There is NO couch in your Empire Zoysia. It has been put under a lot of stress, from being harvested to transported to your address, than laid. Once you have watered your new Empire Zoysia, overnight it will open its leaves & show you it's beauty . Second, once your new lawn has established itself, from time to time you will see this happen. Your lawn is saying, "Hey, I know I am drought tolerant, but I do need water from time to time. I am thirsty, please give me a drink" . Please be mindful of the hints your lawn is giving you. Empire Zoysia, like all turf types can be amazing & look amazing, but with anything living it does need feeding.

20.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder, now that we are coming into the warmer weather season again. Empire Zoysia is amazing, when under stress and/or in need of a drink, its leaf will curl up so fine that it will make you think you have Couch. That is just one awesome attribute that Empire Zoysia has. Once you have given your Empire Zoysia a good drink, it's leaf will open up and once again show you it's beautiful, lush green appearance. This protection mechanism, is so good for letting... you know when this drought tolerate turf is in need of water. Even with it's drought tolerance, from time to time a drink is required. We can reassure you that there is NO Couch in your Empire Zoysia. Always remember it is best to use a sprinkler or irrigation system, for the best watering results.

Just remember they just don't eat established lawns, they love new lawn roots. So be on the look out.
