18.01.2022 UOW College have announced heavily reduced Higher Education Diploma tuition fees from 2021. Eligible domestic students commencing a Higher Education Diploma in 2021 will now be able to access Commonwealth Supported Places to subsidise the cost of their study. In addition, new funding rates will apply from 2021 which will see a further reduction in fees for students studying in particular fields of education. 06.01.2022 Desperately seeking some recycled Australian hardwood planks e.g. turpentine, spotted gum We would love to be able to finish the second seating circle that was designed and constructed in the Living Classroom. As you can see from the photos the first seating circle looks spectacular and provides a great place for classes to meet and learn with their teachers. We unfortunately ran out of turpentine timber planks and have found them difficult to source and so the second seatin...g circle is yet to be finished. If anyone in the community has access to some recycled timber (any sort of recycled hardwood) that would help complete the project we’d love to hear from you!
