12.01.2022 Spotted, reported, and helping rescued a dying pelican yesterday in a gloomy rainy morning. I must say, Seabird Rescue is so efficient as their respond after receiving my call was almost instantaneous. The animal carer was very professional and really cared about the sick bird. On the other hand, I was dissapointed about the WIRES, which such a cumbersome telephone reporting system, being asked many irrelevant questions, and in the end, no follow-ups. I understand running such a big non-profit organisation is very difficult, but being big really has its trade-offs.

06.01.2022 Spotted, reported and helping rescued a dying pelican yesterday in a gloomy rainy morning yesterday. I must say I'm very impressed with Australian Seabird Rescue volunteers' professionalism and responsiveness. They acted instantaneously after receiving my call. Meanwhile I was a bit dissapointed at WIRES' cumbersome telephone reporting system and lack of response. I understand it would be very difficult to run such a big non-profit organisation, however I'm afraid such an efficiency could only turns people away.
