24.01.2022 The knitting needles might be packed away for now, but some motivation for next year's CEDoW KNIT4NEED Challenge.. the 'Colleen Easton KNIT4NEED Perpetual Troph...y' is up for grabs! Colleen is a member of our CEDoW staff and former principal of St Paul's Catholic Primary School, Albion Park. She is woman of deep faith and commitment to a lifetime of service to others and was integral to the success of this year’s inaugural KNIT4NEED initiative. In honour of Colleen's vision, creativity and generosity in helping create a community of fabulous knitters who donated so many scarves, blankets and beanies to Vinnies Wollongong to help those experiencing homelessness we hope this trophy is a reminder and ongoing inspiration for the initiative in the years ahead. Can you knit your way to taking out the trophy next year? We look forward to seeing! Read more about KNIT4NEED at https://bit.ly/2FTn1n9

23.01.2022 The theme for National Child Protection Week is "Putting Children First" and what a week it has been at St Paul's. Monday the Y3-6 students engaged in a webinar on staying safe online. Yesterday we checked if our friends were OK on RUOK Day. Today a large number of staff helped the children to "Walk Safely to School". Today we all wore white shirts for "White Balloon Day". We drew white balloons around the school in the hope that all children will be safe.

22.01.2022 This week is Harmony Week. Today the students of St Paul’s learnt all about some of the cultures that create our Australian identity. They added a splash of orange to their uniforms as it represents freedom of ideas and encourages mutual respect. At St Paul’s 'everyone belongs’.

22.01.2022 World Environment Day was great fun for all!

21.01.2022 To all our CEDoW community, as we navigate the challenges of #COVID19 together... thank you

21.01.2022 All the staff at St Paul's are looking forward to seeing the great work you will do when we start our Remote Learning Plans again on Monday 27th April. Just a reminder that there is NO CHANGE for the first two weeks of term remote learning will still be in place. Parents- look out for the Daily Plan on Compass the day before. (The first one will be shared Sunday 26th April.) Hopefully, this will help you get your child set up and ready for learning. Please note that the children will receive their plan on Seesaw or Google Classroom each morning.

21.01.2022 The staff have loved having the students back at school this week! We have missed their smiling faces. Find out what the students of St Paul's have missed about being at school every day.

20.01.2022 The CEDoW 2020 Christmas Story Art Competition virtual event was recently held online. It was announced that our school finalist Elias (Year 6) will have his artwork taken to be exhibited (with others selected in our diocese) to the Sydney Exhibition. We congratulated Elias on this great honour and on a wonderful artwork!

20.01.2022 Just a reminder that we are having a staff development day on Monday 31 August 2020. It is a pupil free day for the students.

20.01.2022 "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. Lest we forget." Even from the end of our driveway, we honour them. Share your driveway pictures to show how you commemorated.

19.01.2022 Today is World Teacher's Day. 2020 has been a difficult year for teachers. The St Paul’s staff (and all teachers) have faced many challenges this year. They have shown resilience, dedication and innovation. To the staff of St Paul’s we say THANK YOU!

19.01.2022 Crazy hair, games, and running races all in one day. It really was a ‘Fun Friday’ at St Paul’s today. Wishing all our families a happy and safe holiday.

19.01.2022 Thanks to the P&F for supporting the purchase of great coding tools for St Paul's. The students had a great time in #ScienceWeek.

18.01.2022 Today St Paul's acknowledged RUOKDay. The students considered their wellbeing by identifying what they are most grateful for. The staff were given support for their wellbeing by Calderwood Valley. Through their generosity, the staff purchased morning tea. The staff truly loved sitting outside under the gratitude tea checking if we were OK! Don't forget 'THERE'S MORE TO SAY AFTER R U OK?' #RUOK #ruokday2020

17.01.2022 The students of St Paul's have embraced some great new ways to learn. Check out some of the great responses the students have had to their daily learning plans.

16.01.2022 St Paul's staff are all very proud of the great work that has been done remotely. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of the community who supported the children to learn during these difficult times. Each child has learnt so much in this time thanks to you all. Well done St Paul's!

15.01.2022 The students of St Paul's had a great day raising money for the St Vincent de Paul Winter Sleepout Appeal. They stayed snuggly in their PJs and collected over $400 for a terrific cause.

12.01.2022 The students of St Paul's had a wonderful time working in the gardens around the school during the activities for World Environment Day on Friday. It was great to see them caring for God's Creation.

09.01.2022 Last week St Paul's celebrated #ScienceWeek. Mrs Evans and a number of budding coders from Y2-6 lead the school through coding activities. Each grade had the opportunity to try out a number of the robots and coding activities that are available at St Paul's. Last year the P&F donated $5000 to purchase some robotics and the Greig Family very generously donated the Ozobots and the Makey-Makey. We wish the parents could have seen how excited the students were to use all the different coding activities. National Science Week
