24.01.2022 Touch is back Woo hoo! Men’s and Mixed resumes this week. Check out our website to see what time you’re playing, if you’ve got duty and much more!... https://albion-park.nswtouch.com.au

24.01.2022 6 days to go! Next person in our player profile countdown is Jake 'snookie/riverboy/Bags' Bagoly. This walking talking cheeto may be a familiar face to some, with him appearing in the soap Home and Away as a riverboy extra. Thats right, this little protein bar that we collected from the supplement store 4 years ago has grown into a household name. When we asked Bags for an exclusive interview, we asked what his favourite playing number and touch position was. His response was '0402 ... ...' and he likes 'every position' (ok calm down tiger). Bags was a valuable member of the title winning team last year and looks forward to the opportunity to gain back to back titles.

24.01.2022 Rep trial announcement The men’s opens trials scheduled for this evening has been postponed. It will be rescheduled soon, stay tuned

23.01.2022 We are pleased to announce our executive committee for the 2020/21 season: President - Cody Hutchison Treasurer - Jacob Lambert Administrator - Brittney Hudson Referee Coordinator - Pat Costigan... Representative Coordinator - Kyle Williams Our groundskeeper for the coming year is Steve Agnew, and social media coordinator is Isaac Lambert. We are still looking for a Junior Coordinator/Committee for the Junior Competition in summer. Without this we won’t be able to have a Junior competition. If you are even slightly interested in helping out please let us know! The committee would like to express their thanks to the outgoing committee, with a special thank you to CJ for his many years of tireless effort!

23.01.2022 10 days to go! Next victim helping us with our countdown is men’s manager Dylan ‘goosey-step ankle snap knee slap belly smack’ Holtom. Hailing from the motherland of NZ, Dylan has provided Albion Park valuable insight into the mechanics of the goosey step. This little kiwi fruit was an integral part of the men’s title winning team last year and looks to establish himself as not only a winning manager but also an inspiration for the boys. We are sure Dylan will help steady the ship towards another successful campaign this year. Up the Eagles!

17.01.2022 Helping us with our countdown today is a player who most of you may not know. This is Nicholas ‘Thiccolas/Big Red’ Hedley’s first year with the Eagles. Hailing from the concrete jungle north over the coat hanger, this north shore coastal sea breeze is our oldest player earning him the nickname of Dad. Fun fact about this ginger ninja is he played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs U20s Toyota cup team and while trying to impress the first grade coach he attempted to put a shot on... none other than Greg Inglis. Of course the result was a moderate concussion after being knocked out cold (Nick received the concussion for clarification). After experiencing mixed touch and dusting chicks, this spirited red head dedicated himself to the game by practicing the art of the goosey step and the quickie on his grandma and unsuspecting victims on the path walk along Manly beach. Likened to a lobster with salami arms, Thicc only needs to be in the sun for 30 secs before reaching the point of no reburn. Don’t worry hun, we will pack that SPF 50+ for ya. This is Dad’s 3rd senior state cup and we looking forward to seeing his ginger tan in the maroon and yellow jersey in 5 days time! Up the Eagles!! See more

17.01.2022 Only 7 days to go till State Cup, or as according to our engineer, mathematic nerd friend here, Brodie 'Poor man's Cody' Leeson, it is exactly 190 hours or 11,400 minutes or 684,000 seconds till tap off (he will probably still correct us the nerd). Fun fact about Brodie is that he used to be the second fastest U18 200m sprinter in Australia during his hey day. In Brodie's press conference following his race, he famously said "bloody *#$!*^ bullsh*t" like his PS3 lagged and co...st him the race which is the winning attitude we strive for here at Albion Park (if you ain't first, you're last). Thats right folks, this lethal leg Gleeson has speed to burn and is sure to chase down any intercepts our good mate Jake Bagoly throws (so throw away Bagoly you custard oompa loompa). Brodie makes his first state cup appearance this year and we look forward to seeing what he can do. Up the Eagle! See more

16.01.2022 APTA would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! We hope you all receive a touch football from Santa

16.01.2022 Happy Father’s Day from Albion Park Touch!

15.01.2022 13 Days!!! Co captain Kyle ‘K-man/Chowie’ Williams is helping us with our state cup countdown today. When K-man is not losing a foot race to snails on the touch field, he is often announcing the next courtesy bus arrival time at the local RSL. This year makes it K-man’s 5th senior state cup with the Eagles and he hopes to make it his 2nd year on the trot in leading the team to another title. Let’s go, Eagles!

14.01.2022 Juniors News We have had a number of enquiries about the commencement of our Junior competition - at this stage we cannot run it as we need a Junior Coordinator/Committee to help run the comp. If you’re interested in helping out let us know!

14.01.2022 Touch football is OFF for tonight The grounds have been closed. Now you’ve got the afternoon free, why don’t you head on over to The Oaks Hotel Motel for dinner, or Anytime Fitness for a workout ...

13.01.2022 Club Immortal Alan Warburton bleeds maroon and yellow and is super keen for this years state cup. He has been seen wandering your local woolies and @AnytimeFitness gyms in his full touch kit, often singing and clapping to the beat of the Eagle Rock chant in anticipation for Port Macquarie. With a laugh that has been likened to a helium-filled Jonathan Thurston, this home grown Eagle has not lost a single club grand final- just ask him yourself. Let’s hope he can keep that record at this years state cup. 8 days to go!!!

12.01.2022 All players must be registered if they wish to play. There are still a number of players that have not yet registered. If you are not registered, you cannot play. So, please register! The link can be found on our website: If you are not registered, and get injured whilst playing we cannot help you with insurance https://albion-park.nswtouch.com.au/

12.01.2022 We are now into single digits for our state cup countdown! Speaking of single, this young dora the explorer (aka Cody White) is not single (sorry ladies and gents) but is happily in love with the great game of touch footy. Hailing from the outer borders of Dapto, it is surprising this paperclip has a proper haircut and all 32 teeth. What is not surprising is his love for country music and his inability to finish a simple 2 on 1 play. Cody has also been known to get around, playing at more clubs than either INXS or Shannon Noll. With all jokes aside, we look forward to seeing Cody tear up state cup the 3rd time as an Eagle! C'mon Eagles!

12.01.2022 Helping us with our countdown today is Nicky ‘twig/Mr Stretch/giraffesky/high pockets/Big Bird’ Logan who is a financial adviser at Bogan Financial Planning. This beanstalk works like he does his touch game- slow, angrily and yelling at others to go dump the ball for him so he can pull his hammy again at 50% max speed. This wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man has been injury ridden over the last few months, with his latest being a calf strain, despite not having any... calves at all. With Christmas fast approaching, we asked Nicky what his Christmas wish would be this year. His response was wishing for a miracle that he would top the try-scoring board at this year’s state cup (lol), a miracle likened to the time he got out of the friendzone with his now wife. We look forward to seeing Nicky back in the maroon and yellow jersey in 4 days time! See more

10.01.2022 AGM Cancelled Due to the current government recommendations the AGM has been cancelled. Stay tuned for announcements regarding the winter competition.

10.01.2022 Unfortunately we have had two teams forfeit tonight, which means Yesterday’s Heroes, and Monarchy do not have a game tonight

09.01.2022 Only 2 weeks until State Cup

07.01.2022 Last week saw a number of our players head to Coffs Harbour to represent Southern Suns at the 2020 NTLs. Braiden Hooper, Jacob Lambert and Nicholas Lambert competed in the Men’s Opens, and finished off a tough campaign with a win against Northern Territory. Dylan Holtom played in the Senior Mixed division, narrowly missing out on the semi finals by one touchdown. In the Men’s 60s division, John Clune, Glen Southwell and Phil Steep completed a strong campaign, losing a tight semi final. Our AGM will be held at 6pm on Wednesday 25th March at the Oaks Hotel, all are welcome. We are still looking to fill a number of positions for the upcoming year.

06.01.2022 After several years being President at APTA,I have decided to step down and pass the reins over. In my time I have had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people who have helped grow our club and build the culture that our club is renowned for. I would like to thank the committee for there continued support especially Cody Hutchison and Krystal Ward for their outstanding work as administrators. A special thank you to Shane Turton for being the driving force in prepari...ng and organizing the representative team/s and helping bring home another piece of silverware(for the Mens State Open) I wish the new committee, the very best for the upcoming season/s. CJ. See more

05.01.2022 State Cup is done and dusted for another year. In the words of co-captains Kyle Williams and Cody Hutchison, this state cup was by far one of the best state cup experiences, with the team culture and rapport being the strongest it has been over the last 5 years. Unfortunately, the mens open team did not make the finals this year but walked away with some valuable lessons and some strong positive results in the last few games. With the team consisting of 6 debutants and only 6... players from last year's rep team, they did Albion Park proud and have set a strong base to build from going into next year. We would like to congratulate the runners up for the team 2020 MVP - Cody White and Lewis Hazelton who both put in very strong performances and effort during the two days of competition. The mens open 2020 MVP was awarded to Jake Bagoly for his leadership on the field and his ability to cause opposition headaches in defence and attack. Lastly, we would like to thank everyone who participated in the 50 club and also our sponsors and partners Anytime Fitness and Figtree Physiotherapy for helping make this campaign happen!! Up the Eagle! See more

05.01.2022 Interested in playing Representative Touch Footy? Our Mens Opens trials are on the 30th September at 6:15pm. The Mixed Trials are 7th October 6:15pm. At Albion Oval.... All are welcome! Hope to see you there

05.01.2022 Touch is back ON tonight Don’t forget to check if your team has duty! The information is on our website https://albion-park.nswtouch.com.au/...

05.01.2022 Representative trials for state cup Men’s Opens trials are happening tomorrow 6:15pm at Albion Oval! Hope to see you there

05.01.2022 12 Days To Go! The excitement is near uncontrollable for our mens player Lewis 'Lewie' Hazelton. His touch game may be as exciting as his creative nickname 'Lewie', but his passion for throwing up peace signs for pics while in floaties in the backyard pool is second to none. When lewis isn't posing for pics, he enjoys running his trademark switch returns on the touch field, reminding us of the good ol’ 90s touch days. Lewis makes his long-awaited return to state cup this year and after missing out on the silverware from last year, he is hungry to win. Lessssgo Eagles!

04.01.2022 This is the last week of touch for Juniors and Seniors until the new year There will be lolly bags and cans of drink handed out at Juniors today after their games! Please head to the sheds after your games to collect them

03.01.2022 Attention APTA would like to inform the community that due to COVID-19 the scheduled Winter Competition will not go ahead. Rest up for a big Summer Competition!...

03.01.2022 APTA is seeking expressions of interest for a Covid-19 Safety Officer for the Summer Competition! The main duties are simply disinfecting footballs and ensuring attendance is marked off. We are also looking for a Junior Coordinator/Committee for the upcoming Junior Competition. Without these roles the Junior Competition cannot run ... If you are interested please don't hesitate to send us a message.

03.01.2022 Co captain of the mens state cup team, Cody Hutchison, or 'Clutch' as he likes to call himself, helps us with our countdown today. If you have ever seen this guy play on a Wednesday night, you probably notice he likes to remind the referees he is president when they call his 5m forward pass forward (shock me). Yes, this spatially-unaware, compass-deficient, NFL-passing geezer helped lead the boys to their state cup title last year and hopes to claim another title this year! 11 Days To Go, up the Eagles!

02.01.2022 Active vouchers can be used for both the Seniors and Juniors Competition! If Senior players wish to use their active vouchers, please message us Keep those registrations coming! Not long until they close

01.01.2022 Here is the Managers Pack for the upcoming Senior Competition! Players please give it a read before the first round, especially the managers https://albion-park.nswtouch.com.au//APTA-Managers-Pack.pdf... Keep those registrations coming, it's shaping up to be a good competition!
