All age groups are welcome to register, with Spurs having teams in all age groups in Juniors and Seniors again in 2021!... 17.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Last night the AWFA Executive and Members Committee decided to cancel all football activities for the 2020 season. This decision was not made lightly. A robust discussion took place and many scenarios considered. It is unfortunate that we cannot train or play our great game this year however in essence it is the best decision under the current circumstances. Discussions are already underway about possible summer competitions at all age groups including ...Miniroos. We will endeavour to explore all possible avenues and get back to football under the safest possible conditions. What this means; No more training or games Our registrar will deregister all players from the club, you will need to action the email you receive All NSW Active kids vouchers are non-refundable Quite a numbers of members have kindly offered to give the club their refunds. We are truly humbled by this and all moneys will go towards replacing our operating losses for 2020 and purchasing equipment for the season 2021 and beyond. Information about part or full refunds will follow. Please understand this will be a very lengthy process so your patience is appreciated. On behalf of the Albury Hotspurs Commitee, team coaches and managers, I would like to thank everyone for their commitment in these very trying times. We will return bigger and better in 2021. Financial abuse and disadvantage are some of the biggest barriers to women leaving abusive relationships. The Zahra Foundation works to support women and children to live life free of violence, providing pathways towards economic independence. One way the Foundation helps is to provide small grants through the Opportunity Knox program which assists women and children fleeing domestic violence with the costs associated with education and accessing or sustaining employment. Help Zahra Foundation raise money to provide small grants for families connected to domestic and family violence. *Beyond Bank will match up to $5,000 in total donations for Zahra Foundation. 06.01.2022 UPDATED REMINDER TO CLUBS At this stage we have NOT received an extension for de-registration. ALL players de-registering in the system MUST be approved no lat...er than 5pm today. ALL players pending in your system must be declined If this is not actioned full fees are invoiced (this is not within our control) *Note: For Victorian Clubs ONLY Football Federation Australia and Football Victoria do not provide refunds for their component therefore players de-registering will only receive partial refunds. If you are unsure please check with your club. AWFA are extremely sorry for this tight turnaround and have requested an extension to this deadline but have not received an extension as yet.
