20.01.2022 OUR RACE LANES ARE EMPTY SO PLEASE SPEND YOUR BIG SPLASH DOLLARS LOCALLY. We are disappointed that due to the pandemic, this March we will not be running our annual Albury Wodonga Big Splash. We are a community event organised to raise awareness for mental health and suicide as well as much needed funds for headspace Albury Wodonga and Survivors of Suicide & Friends / Winter Solstice, so we are feeling this loss enormously because this is a year where it is more important th...an ever for people to get together and smile and have fun. In the past we have been proud to have hosted 7 Big Splash events, held 140 relay races and cheered on over 800 relay teams. That is almost 7,000 legs kicking in the pool and donating in excess of $100,000 towards mental health support services. Please reach out to your Big Splash team mates, your costume buddies, friends and family and to get together in one of our local restaurants, cafes or businesses. Many of these businesses have supported the Big Splash (and, therefore, our community) in the past and could really use our help right now.
