21.01.2022 lantar Fasciitis The plantar fascia is a ligament that connects your heel to the front of your foot. Plantar fasciitis comes from repetitive strain to the ligament from excessive walking, running, jumping or inappropriate footwear. Low level laser therapy (LLLT) offers a quick, non-invasive, alternative to relieve the pain of plantar fasciitis. When applied to injuries and lesions, low level laser light has been shown to stimulate healing and reduce pain by accelerating t...he speed, quality and strength of tissue repair and the reduction of inflammation. To find out more information you can book a consultation with Darren by calling the clinic 0260241156 or booking online https://www.bordermedicallaser.com.au/book-now1

RSIs are common and may be caused by many different types of activities such as gardening, training for sports, typing, grasping tools or even from scanning items at the supermarket checkout! Some common RSIs include carpal tunnel syndrome, bursitis, rotator cuff tendonitis and tennis elbow.... The patient in this photo is constantly driving machinery for work which has caused inflammation in the ankle. 16.01.2022 J for JOINT Our Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) used directly on the joint or affected area acts to temporarily reduce the inflammation surrounding the joint and relieve the associated pain. The use of LLLT can accelerate the healing process by using red light and near infrared wavelengths to interact with cells/tissue and increase blood circulation. This treatment is ideal for immediate use after injury. 10.01.2022 THANKS! We would like to say thank you to the patients we have treated recently for our new Endo & Period pain treatment, your support means we can continue this service. The bonus of having multiple modalities at the Border Wellness Centre is that two heads are better than one and when they collaborate you get a new service like this! ENDOMETRIOSIS: Endometriosis is a disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that forms the lining of your uterus grows outside of your... uterine cavity. The lining of your uterus is called the endometrium. Endometriosis occurs when endometrial tissue grows on your ovaries, bowel, and tissues lining your pelvis. The hormonal changes of your menstrual cycle affect the misplaced endometrial tissue, causing the area to become inflamed and painful. This means the tissue will grow, thicken, and break down. Over time, the tissue that has broken down has nowhere to go and becomes trapped in your pelvis. A little bit more about the treatment; We are working with Kirby from DQ Chinese Medicine to bring a new service to the ladies of our local area! A combination treatment of low level laser therapy & Chinese Medicine elements. Our aim is to reduce any of the pain and symptoms that you might get during your menstrual cycle or from endometriosis in a non-invasive way. Upon consultation and assessment, suitable patients will receive a laser therapy session with Darren which is a 45 minute treatment once a month, with no downtime and minimal side effects. This non-invasive therapy uses red & near infrared light to improve blood flow to the tissue which can soften the tissue and break down inflammation in turn reducing the symptomatic pain & discomfort. The laser therapy may also aid with bloating, cramping, scar tissue & lesions whilst working to help control the nervous system response. Kirby will use multiple elements of Chinese Medicine including but no limited to acupuncture, Chinese herbs, nutrition recommendations including diet advice and herbal teas. She will be working with you during your cycle to promote a healthy and pain free menstruation. The main component; acupuncture is regulating your cycle, moves the blood stasis, blood flow & improves symptomatic fainting, vomiting and tenderness. You can book your initial consultation and treatment (1hr 30min) around 7 days prior to your cycle starting. Low level laser therapy (LLLT) on wound areas as a non-invasive, pain-free method with minor side effects, has been considered as a possible treatment option for the diabetic foot syndrome. How this works is to supply direct biostimulative light energy to body cells. Different laser wavelengths have different depths of penetration into human tissue.
