22.01.2022 Women looking for Men... Men Looking for Women... How do we do that in this crazy crazy world??... By being authentic, vulnerable and playful I would propose. Not that you need to propose, but some that have met at TSD have proposed, and they said yes!!! There have also been life long friendships made with people from the opposite and the same sex. It truly is a place I am grateful to facilitate. The evening starts gently, at a distance, promoting silence, to be able to feel what is going on inside. For this is what we want to exercise. Q. "How do I feel right now, with this person in front of me?" Then you will finish that exercise and you will be in front of someone new... Q. "How do I feel right now, with this person in front of me?" It is amazing what we can learn from this simple question, over and over again, with different people in our field. As we practice our boundaries and asking for what we want during the evening, we get to exercise our emotional and verbal muscles around healthy & loving communication. Even in saying No... if fact especially in saying NO! For if we can't say NO, then what does our YES really mean??? 21.01.2022 With the world moving so ridiculously fast at times... I mean it is nearly mid March already! WTF!? When did this happen?? It is really important for us to slow down and pause for a moment, breathe, tune into where we are and how we are doing?... Even though it is titled Speed Dating. Once we get started in the sharing exercises, we slow things right down. Take a breath, witness ourselves and then share from there. This is one of the first exercises we do during the evening. From here we progress to establishing boundaries, asking for what you want and much more.... All of this is done so that you get to exercise these muscles of your own inner Truth, so that it is easier to do the same out in the real world, where it can feel more daunting.
