22.01.2022 A quick reminder to our members that our next general meeting will be held at Kooyong on Wednesday 10th May. This months speaker is from Engineers Australia and will give an update into the upcoming registration of engineers. Attendance is free but you have to be a member to participate. 21.01.2022 Last night saw the 23rd Annual General Meeting being held at the Melbourne Savage Club. Presentation was made by Todd Russell, one of the two survivors of the Beaconsfield (Tas) Mine disaster. Todd gave a moving presentation on the collapse itself, the days (weeks) that he and Brandt were caught underground, and life following the event. It sure bought home the safety message. Our new Executive Board was announced; we have our first female Executive Member, Monica George... from GHD. Congratulations Monica and welcome aboard! President: Mark Fleming, Beveridge Williams Vice President: John Yalden, Taylors Development Secretary: Gordon Templeton, Reeds Consulting Treasurer: Richard Pearce, BPD Committee: Anthony Grodzki, Urban Design Steve Hodgson, LD Eng Peter Skinner, DCE Monica George, GHD Matthew Holmes, SMEC Phil Counsel, Spiire Neville Worme, BG&E Stuart Woodward, Charter Keck Cramer Outgoing members are Steven Nolan of Spiire, Stephen Watters of SMEC and Jack Consiglio of Calibre. We look forward to new challenges and achievements with our new committee.

We are also seeking sponsorships for Longest Drive, Closest the Pin, Straightest drive, Drink stations / carts.
