21.01.2022 Big weekend at Aldinga Bay SLSC! Master's Surfboat State Titles Saturday morning followed by our junior club champs. Sunday morning will see the Westpac Lifesaving helicopter training at Button Road ramp from 10AM. All this with beautiful weather and our regular patrols.

19.01.2022 One of our heatwave jetski patrols removed a good sized blue ring octopus from Silver Sands beach this afternoon. If you see one don't touch it as they are quit...e poisonous. Flag down one of our patrols or a council ranger and let them deal with it. An article just published by the Advertiser noted that a few SA beaches have seen far more than average sightings recently. 17.01.2022 We're halfway into summer and it has been awesome weather down the beach! It's also been a huge first half of summer for our local lifesavers who've taken part ...in multiple rescues, a massive amount of preventative actions and a heap of first aids. Outside of patrol hours our clubbies have been kept busy in major incidents such as resuscitation's and rescue callouts along with some minor rescues. On top of this operators from Aldinga Bay SLSC have been called out with our rescue craft to multiple search and rescues outside of our patrol zone. They've clocked up extra hours on heat wave patrols during the week. Spent a huge amount of time educating our local kids in water safety through nippers and Vacswim. Even assisted other clubs in searches whilst on holidays! Top work to all those who've volunteered their time! See more

16.01.2022 Unfortunately the club banner went missing during yesterday's patrol. The banner is put up whenever a patrol from Aldinga Bay SLSC is operating. This year the n...umber of people on the beach has doubled from last year keeping our lifesavers very busy. The beach ramp banner plays a vital role on our beach as many visitors to the beach would be unaware that help is at hand when needed if it were not there. If you or someone you know ended up with banner in your possession or if you have any information as to the whereabouts please contact the surf club. See more

14.01.2022 The Easter long weekend wrapped up this season's rostered patrols at Aldinga Bay SLSC. The statistics for the season are as follows. 4 rescues 5 searches 4 firs...t aids 172 preventative actions 8 shark alarms This doesn't include a huge amount of stats from Jetski 5 which is stationed at Aldinga Bay and operated by lifesavers from our club. This was made possible by 2400 volunteer hours spent on our beach from 79 lifesavers along with 300 hours supporting state rescue services and 200 hours supporting SLSSA sporting events. See more

11.01.2022 Heading to the beach on Australia Day? Aldinga Bay SLSC will be patrolling from 9am till late. For the first time ever we will be running an outpost patrol from... 12 at the Aldinga boat ramp as well. Extra water craft and vehicles will be operation too.
