24.01.2022 G'day ABBC, If you didn't see it on email or the church Newsletter, just wanting you to know some things about Sunday. First, the good news is we are on. Second if you're planning to come we have created a ticketed event due to us only being allowed 100 people. I've created a link for this through Eventbrite. If you need the link please let me know and I'll send it to you.... If you aren't able to make it, as other weeks we will be live streaming via YouTube. The easiest way to get to the live stream is via our website http://aldingabaybaptist.org.au/webcast/ If you're able to make it, hope to see you on the weekend. Andrew
23.01.2022 This is absolutely gold. If youve got young kids this would be an amazing weekend for them to be a part of.

20.01.2022 NOTICE: Service Announcement Church this week is still going ahead. However, in light of the increasing developments around the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) we as a church are taking measures for safety.... There will be announcements made at both services concerning these measures. If you feel more comfortable with a smaller gathering please try the 4pm service at Studio 20 this week. Always we remain united through Christ and nothing can separate each of us from the love of God! ABBC Leadership
20.01.2022 Further Announcements: Due to legislation, and recommendations we regret that we have to cancel all of our church services for the coming two weeks which is the 22nd and 29th of March. Youth group is also cancelled for the rest of the term. For those who are unable to get to the shops due to your home situation, do not hesitate to reach out for help. Barb and Garry Elliot (0448 809 752) and Sue Camac (0422557510) are on standby and would love to help in this way. We are so ...appreciative of Barb Elliot, Enid Garwood and others who have worked tirelessly to make the garage sale operational for this weekend. However, with much deliberation we have arrived at the decision that it needs to be postponed from this weekend. Although disappointing, we feel it is necessary in prevention of the possible spread of the virus. Stay tuned for new dates! There will be NO more donations accepted due to space and logistics. For additional pastoral care needs, even if you just need a chat, Thomas (0421 087 546) is available, even over the phone if necessary. Thomas and Jo are also available and would love to attend your small group during the weeks to come, and would love to offer support in this way. Tuesday nights are the weekday they are unavailable currently. We encourage you to access sermons from our ABBC website. In addition, please stay tuned for more sermons which will be uploaded to our Facebook page Aldinga Bay Baptist Church so please make sure to like and follow our page there. Our Facebook page can still be accessed online, even if you are not a member of Facebook. Currently, there is a new sermon uploaded there from Jonathan Camac who spoke at our 4PM service last week. We encourage you to listen to these with your family or small group. Stay safe ABBC family! In Him, ABBC Leadership See more

13.01.2022 Church on the Oval! G’day ABBC, If there is anything that 2020 has been teaching me, it is that God is good and in control, so we can trust him.... There has been plenty of rapid changes this year, so it’s in keeping that we have at least one more before the years end. The latest change is that we have been informed today by Tatachilla that they are in the process of having the gymnasium floors resealed and as it takes a few days to cure we won’t have access to the gym on Sunday. They have offered us the Activity Centre once again but as most of you know this Sunday is our Sunday school presentation and given the logistics of this we are sure the Activity Centre won’t be adequate. The good news is that it will be a nice day and we have several large marquees so we have decided to hold church on the oval. This will mean you come to the front entrance of the gym as normal, there you’ll be greeted by our friendly COVID marshals and checked in. Then instead of going into the foyer you will turn left and head to the western side of the complex. We’ll provide shade and have water on hand. The usual toilets and facilities will be available through the foyer. Basically come as you usually would but dress for being outside. It’s a big Sunday this week and we’re looking forward to having a good number of people join us for what is our end of year Sunday school production followed by the NOT CAROLS’, Sunday School Picnic. Hope to see you Sunday
13.01.2022 As the Eldership has encouraged us let's encourage one another as best and safely as we can in small groups. In order that we continue as the Church to build each other up through fellowship, hearing from God through His word and praying together. Today I reflected with others on Psalm 37. Here are some of our insights: - It is comforting to know that God is in control. - The passage directs us to trust, delight, commit our way, be still before and ultimately hope in the Lord...! - God is the one who provides our needs, always. - Ultimately He has provided our greatest need - Salvation Be encouraged amidst this crisis - God is our sovereign provider and spiritual saviour! Security is found in Him.
12.01.2022 Hello Church! Sunday Live Service 19/07/2020. http://aldingabaybaptist.org.au/webcast/
12.01.2022 Youth is back! This Friday 31/01.
11.01.2022 Dear Church Family, We are certainly living in unprecedented times and due to this weeks developments we have had to make the unfortunate decision to close Sunday church, both 10am and 4pm services for at least the next two weeks. We have an absolute duty to be global partners with our brothers and sisters to control the spread of this virus.... Yet we know God is bigger than this crisis! Youth Group will cease as of this Friday and will remain closed for the rest of this school term. Also as a church even though we are not gathering we can still operate as a fellowship of believers confirming, caring, praying and communicating with each other as we continue to do His good work. We would absolutely encourage small groups to go ahead providing people stay away when feeling unwell and follow the no contact and social distancing rules where possible. Small groups may even consider getting together on Sunday morning to pray for the current situation we are in. I understand that in the current times we are living in it can be particularly overwhelming. If you are struggling in any way please speak to another believer, church leader or have someone pray for you. Proverbs 12:25 Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. At this time I would like to recognize all the faithful servants we have at the church; welcomers, coffee severs, morning tea cooks, musicians, sound people, those that open and lock up, preachers, childrens leaders and im sure there are many more! Please relax and refresh over this break because God has some awesome work for Aldinga Bay Baptist still to do. If you know of congregation members who do not have electronic access, please pass on the details of the closure. We will communicate more in the coming weeks. I saw this quote on the Gospel Coalitions website this morning thought it was very relevant. When Martin Luther was dealing with a plague in his day, he wrote these wise words that can help inform the way we approach things happening in our world right now: I shall ask God mercifully to protect us. Then I shall fumigate, help purify the air, administer medicine and take it. I shall avoid places and persons where my presence is not needed in order not to become contaminated and thus perchance inflict and pollute others and so cause their death as a result of my negligence. If God should wish to take me He will surely find me and I have done what He has expected of me and so I am not responsible for either my own death or the death of others. If my neighbour needs me however I shall not avoid place or person I shall go freely as stated above. See this is such a God-fearing faith because it is neither brash nor foolhardy and does not tempt God. Blessings Colin on behalf of ABBC Elders
